*The Deputy Speaker, Oyo state House of Assembly congratulates Islamic faithfuls and wishes them more of Eid celebrations.*
The Oyo State Deputy Speaker and Honourable representing Ona Ara State Constituency at the Oyo state House of Assembly, Hon. Mohammed Abiodun Fadeyi through his Special Assistant on media Adeniji Adeleye congratulates Islamic faithfuls on the celebration of this year's Eid-il-Kabir celebrations.
In a release dated 20th July 2021, he wishes all Moslems a happy celebration of Eid and also implores them to remember the lessons the celebration teaches us.
He further urged the people to be law abiding in their celebration activities and also not to forget to be safe and keep all Covid-19 precaution measures in place.
Hon. Fadeyi added that people should put their minds at peace and make sure they report any unrest or criminal activities to the appropriate authorities during and after the EID celebrations.
He concluded by praying to the Almighty Allah to preserve our lives to witness many of this special day on the surface of the earth.

OYO STATE DEPUTY SPEAKER HON ABIODUN MOHAMMED FADEYI RECEIVED THE NEWLY SWORN-IN COUNCILLORS FROM ONA ARA STATE CONSTITUENCY.
The Councillors led by the house leader, Hon Fatai Olapade paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly to appreciate him for his efforts and role he played before and during the LG elections.
The deputy speaker charged them to build a relationship with their constituents as they are the ones closest to them while also pledging his unflinching support to them and the chairman of the council.
He also advised them to work in loyalty, obedience,and wisdom with their Chairman, Hon Musibau Shaba.
Hon Fadeyi wished them a successful tenure, more height and God's favour in their endeavors.

CELEBRATION OF 2 YEARS IN OFFICE & ACHIEVEMENTS OF HON ABIODUN MOHAMMED FADEYI REPRESENTING ONA ARA STATE CONSTITUENCY/ DEPUTY SPEAKER OYO STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY.
The 10th of June, 2021 marks the 2nd year in office as honourable member representing Ona Ara State Constituency at Oyo State House of Assembly. We give all glory to Almighty Allah who has made everything possible to this extent.
With grateful heart I give kudos to our party leaders, members of People Democratic Party (PDP) and my constituents in Ona Ara to which I give so much admiration for your support and to Oyo State at large.
I appreciate you all for your prayers and perseverance as we are not perfect but mere humans.
However, the 2nd year in office has been of signifacant improvement from where we were, and where we are heading in achieving new Ona Ara. All the aligned goals, strategies and measures that need to be put in place are still under control.

OYO STATE DEPUTY SPEAKER MOURNS PASSING OF OBA OF AKANRAN.
The Deputy Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Fadeyi condoles with the Governor of Oyo State" H.E Engr Seyi Makinde,Traditional Rulers, Ona Ara LG and the good people of Akanran over the death of Oba James Oladipo Obisesan.
Hon. Fadeyi described the late Monarch as Selfless, dynamic and Transformational leader and also said that the late traditional ruler would be remembered for his legacies.
The Deputy Speaker lamented that we have lost a rare progressive whose exemplary life worthy of emulation.
He also commiserate with the family of the Late Oba,the chiefs in council and prays that the almighty God forgives his shortcomings and grant his soul eternal rest, Amin.

Oyo State House of Assembly Deputy Speaker, *Rt. Hon Abiodun Fadeyi Mohammed* has felicitated with Christians on the occasion of Easter.
Hon Fadeyi said that Easter is a period of fresh beginning, forgiveness, love and friendship and also easter exemplifies the ultimate sacrifice made by Jesus Christ to save mankind, noting that as individuals, Christians must take into consideration the welfare of others.
He urged the privileged to reach out to the less privileged as everyone works to deepen the culture of true Christianity.
The deputy speaker also noted that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, through the sadness and pain of the Crucifixion, also embodied victory over darkness, as evidenced in the Resurrection.
He urged Christians to uphold peace and harmony, and to always embrace others as part of the great family God has created.

Deputy speaker Oyo State House of Assembly attends ward 6 meeting in Ona Ara In continuation of his visit to various wards in the constituency to discuss issues bothering on security and other state issues
The Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon Fadeyi used the opportunity to launch his constituency magazine showcasing his various activities and achievements so far.
Rt. Hon Abiodun Mohammed Fadeyi also informed members of PDP ward 6 that reconstruction of Gbaremu Olosun bridge and Oremeji, Gbaremu\Idi obi and old AJIA road has been approved and work will start on it.
The Deputy Speaker also discussed the issue of the forthcoming council elections in the state and he made it clear that all candidates are his preferred candidate and party members should choose for themselves in their ward.
He urged them to continue to support and pray for the present Administration in Oyo State.

Rt. Hon Abiodun Mohammed Fadeyi at his ward (08) meeting in ona ara local government, Ajia. He advised the exco to choose the right candidate in the next local government chairmanship and councillorship election.
Hon Fadeyi while speaking appreciated all PDP members in ona ara local government, most especially PDP ward 008 members in ona ara for their support. He prayed that they will reap the fruits of their labor. While speaking, he said OJU-AWO is our symbol meaning (OJU-AWO LAWO FI GBA OBE).
Furthermore, Hon Fadeyi stated clearly at the meeting that he has no prefered candidate for the next party primary election. He advised the party members and exco members to choose wisely when voting their candidates.
He also appreciated the good work of Governor Seyi Makinde. He prayed that God will continually strengthen him in storing the ship of the state as it is no small measure governing a state the status of Oyo state..

6, Ongoing construction of a block of four classrooms and an administrative office at Christ Church Basic School, Bioku Etile, Ona Ara local government.
7, Secured employment opportunities for youths from Ona- Ara local government into TESCOM, Amotekun Corps, NSCDC,different ministries in Oyo state and still planing to do more.
8, Secured scholarships for students from Ona-Ara into Technical University, Oyo State.
9, As a legislator, he has moved many motions in the Parliament for the progress of our dear state such as :
i) The Oyo State Anti Open Grazing bill.
ii) Oyo state oAnti Open Defecation bill which the President has made a priority to end open defecation by 2025.
And also, he was an active voice doing the south - west summit of speakers when the western Nigeria security network was been deliberated upon .

OYO DEPUTY SPEAKER EULOGIES GOVERNOR SEYI MAKINDE ON RECENT ACHIEVEMENT
Oyo State House of Assembly Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon ABIODUN MOHAMMED FADEYI today expressed his satisfaction towards the Governor of the State H.E Engr Seyi Makinde over his recent achievement in ensuring Ladoke Akintola University of Technology ( LAUTECH) is now fully owned by Oyo State Government
Hon Fadeyi while speaking on behalf of other Honourable Members today at the Assembly's Chamber where the Governor presented the 2021 Annual Budget to the House praised the Governor for being prudent and upright ever since he assumed office as the Executive Governor of the State and pledged to continue giving adequate and progressive support to the Governor of the State.
Governor Seyi Mankinde while addressing the Honourables present expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the State Assembly for being a partner in progress and also thank them for believing in His OMITUNTUN AGENDA. He however promised the he will continue to uphold the tenet of integrity and uprightness so as not to renege on his campaign promises made to the good people of Oyo State.

Oyo State House of Assembly Deputy Speaker, Rt Hon Mohammed Fadeyi felicitates with Hon Mulikat Adeola on the occasion of her birthday celebration.
The Deputy Speaker who described the celebrant as a dependable and charismatic leader whose leadership and wealth of experience is worthy of emulation to all aspiring politicians. He stressed that Hon Mulikat's rise to political stardom is not by accident but as a result of her devotion and hardwork towards the development of her State and Nigeria at large has made her relevant till date.

ENDSARS: OYO DEPUTY SPEAKER SHARES SOLIDARITY AND BESEECH PROTESTERS TO BE PEACEFUL.
Oyo State House of Assembly Deputy Speaker Rt Hon Abiodun Mohammed Fadeyi today joined Youths across the State to share in solidarity on the ENDSARS PROTEST ONGOING. In his words he said the government of Oyo State deeply frown at the brutality and excessive abuse of power by the member of SARS and assure protesters that the major stakeholders shall ensure their agitation is successful.
Furthermore, he urged protesters not to be violent in their approach while agitating for their rights and also be careful so as not to allow hoodlums to hijack the peaceful demonstrations.
Finally, Rt Hon Abiodun Mohammed Fadeyi extend his condolences to the family of Innocent souls that were untimely cut short during the agitation of ENDSARS most importantly the incidence that occurred in Ogbomosho days ago.
He prayed that may the souls of the departed rest in peace.

Independence Day: Oyo Deputy Speaker congratulate Nigerians
Oyo Deputy Speaker, Hon Fadeyi Mohammed, has called on Nigerians to maintain unity, faith and hope preached by Nigeria’s founding fathers as the country celebrates its 60th anniversary.
In his independence message, he noted that even though Nigeria recently became the world headquarters for extreme poverty, he hoped the people will overcome the tough times.
"But I know even much more that tough times never last but tough people do. And Nigerians are a tough people. Evidence of that abounds in our strength in adversity and most especially amongst our youth who continue to make us proud.
“So if I have to summarise my message to Nigerians on this our 60th Independence Day, I would do it in one sentence: Things will get better. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria and all her people,” he said.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Adeniji Samuel, Hon Fadeyi admonished Nigerians to re-dedicate themselves to the idea of defining their personal interests in line with how it helps the realisation of national objectives.
He explained that the national objective of every Nigerian should be to build a united, peaceful, economically strong, internationally respected country, with robust military, well motivated work-force, ambitious youth and fulfilled citizens.

Describes him as Epitome of Good Leadership
Rt Hon Fadeyi Mohammed fadeyi the Deputy speaker of Oyo state House of Assembly has felicitated with former governor of Oyo State who is also the Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland, Senator Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja FNSE, on the occasion of his 76th birthday.
Fadeyi, in a congratulatory message signed by his media assistant, Samuel Adeleye Adeniji, described Ladoja as a humble, peace-loving politician and democrat whose style of leadership is worthy of emulation.
The Lawmaker said the Ibadan High Chief delivered impactful and selfless service while he served as Oyo state Governor (2003 - 2007) and Senator in the third republic, Hon Fadeyi described the love Senator Ladoja have for the masses as unquantifiable.
Hon Fadeyi wished the Osi Olubadan of Ibadan many prosperous years on earth in sound health.

OYO ASSEMBLY CONFIRMS APPOINTMENT OF OYSIEC MEMBERS... Urges them to conduct free and fair LG election.
The Oyo State House of Assembly has confirmed the appointment of members of Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission OYSIEC.
The members were screened and confirmed on Thursday during the house plenary
Recall that the Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde had on Tuesday this week forwarded the list of the OYSIEC members to the Oyo State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
The Committee has Barr Isiaka Olagunju as Chairman, while Comrade Adeniyi Afeez Babatunde, Alhaja Ganiyat Saka, Mr Olanrewaju Emmanuel, Chief Kunle Agboola, Mr Remi Ayoade, Mr Sunday Falana and Mr Adeojo Elias as members.
The Speaker , Hon Ogundoyin Adebo described the newly appointed Committee members as people of proven integrity whose honesty and forthrightness is not in doubt.
" I therefore urge you to bring your professional experiences to bear in your new assignment as the Oyo State Government has reposed its confidence in you hence we expect you to conduct free and fair Local Government elections for the state."The Speaker said.
While answering questions posed to him by the lawmakers, the Chairman of OYSIEC , Barr Isiaka Olagunju described his new appointment as a call to duty adding that members of the Committee will not let the State down.
Barr Olagunju assured that OYSIEC members will not be found wanting in the discharge of their duties especially when it is conducting Local Government elections.

The Deputy Speaker of Oyo State, Rt Hon Abiodun Mohammed Fadeyi Received 500 members of All Progressive Congress (APC),African Democratic Congress (ADC), and Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) that dumped their parties and defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ona Ara local Government Area of Oyo State
The Deputy Speaker commended the defectors for joining the party and said the party would continue to deliver dividends of democracy to the people, adding that they remain united and undivided.
The defectors said they defected based on the Excellent Achievements and Unprecedented Performance of Governor Seyi Makinde in the last one year.
Rt Hon. Fadeyi expressed gratitude to PDP Chairman Ona Ara Local Government, Hon Mosobalaje Bakare for his great work, and also to every party members at the meeting and also admonished them to remain united in their solidarity towards making PDP GREAT.

Oyo Deputy Speaker Felicitates With Olubadan at 92
The Deputy Speaker of Oyo state House of Assembly, Hon Abiodun Mohammed Fadeyi has congratulated and felicitated with the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji (Aje Ogungunniso 1), on the occasion of his 92th birthday.
In a statement released by his special assistant on Media and publicity, Samuel Adeniji, the lawmaker described the monarch as an embodiment of royalty who is full of wisdom and a guardian of the traditional institution.
He also described Him as a man of peace who loves his people genuinely, Hon Fadeyi said the royal father is always interested in the development of Ibadan land, Oyo state and Nigeria at Large.
"As you celebrate 92 years of age today, I joined other well wishers to thank God Almighty for giving you the grace to witness this auspicious day.
“Attaining the age of 92, is not an easy feat especially in this clime where life expectancy is something to worry about, but God in His infinite mercies have kept you to this day.
"My prayers for you on your birthday is that God Almighty should continue to bestow on you long life and wisdom to serve the people of Ibadan, Oyo state and indeed, Nigeria at large.
"On behalf of the good people of Ona Ara constituency, I wish Kabiesi a Happy birthday and pray He witness more of it in good health and condition".

MAKINDE SET TO CONDUCT LG ELECTION : SEEKS OYO ASSEMBLY'S APPROVAL OF OYSIEC LIST.
There are indications that the Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde is set to conduct elections into the thirty-three Local Government Areas in the State.
This is because the Governor has forwarded the list of members of the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission, OYSIEC to the State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
The eight member board has Barr Isiaka Olagunju as Chairman while Comrade Adeniyi Afeez Babatunde, Alhaja Ganiyat Saka, Mr Olanrewaju Emmanuel, Chief Kunle Agboola, Mr Remi Ayoade, Mr Sunday Falana and Mr Adeojo Elias are members.
In the letter announcing the composition of the board by the Governor read at Tuesday's plenary by the Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Adebo Ogundoyin, Engr Makinde said " the board members are eminently qualified to be appointed as members of OYSIEC to oversee and conduct elections into our Local Government Areas based on their track records"
The Speaker said the board of OYSIEC should have been constituted before now but for the court case instituted by the sacked Local Government Chairmen in the state.
Hon Ogundoyin expressed happiness that the conduct of Local Government elections in the state will further help to bring dividends of democracy to the people.
"I am happy that the Oyo State Governor has forwarded the list of OYSIEC members for screening and confirmation to us in the house. I have no doubt that when the board is constitued it will conduct credible Local Government elections devoid of any rancor, violence and malpractice" The Speaker added
