Why Are The Kidnappers Not Kidnaping People Of Their Sizes ~ Tinubu's Wife Laments, Calls Kidnappers Cowards

The Nigerian First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu while reacting to the news of the over 280 school children and teachers abducted by terrorists in Kaduna State on Thursday described the kidnappers as people who are sick, cruel and coward and that they deserve a thorough punishment for always resorting to the kidnapping of children who are the happiness of their mothers.

The First Lady who also referred herself to as a "former lawyer" also lamented that about 200 women were recently abducted by Boko Haram terrorists at Gamboru-Ngala and Dikwa local government areas of Borno State. According to her, the women were Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and said to have gone into the bush in search for firewoods when they were kidnapped.

Remi Tinubu while lamenting, blamed the terrorists for kidnapping children instead of people who are big as they are. She called them animals, evil and that they deserved to be taken out of the land and thoroughly punished.

While also tasking the northern law makers and governors to do more, Remi Tinubu encouraged that once these terrorists are captured, it is over for them.

Nollywood has lost a comedy legend with the passing of Mr Ibu at the age of 62 after a long health battle, including issues with blood clotting.

The iconic Nigerian actor, famous for his humor, publicly sought help in October 2023, but plans for treatment abroad were halted. In November 2023, he underwent a leg amputation. Mr Ibu's laughter-filled roles made him a beloved figure in the entertainment world. May his soul rest in peace.

Access Holdings appoints Bolaji Agbede as Acting CEO

Access Holdings Plc on Monday announced the appointment of Bolaji Agbede as the Acting Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the holding company. The appointment follows the death of its late Group Chief Executive Officer, Herbert Wigwe, who died in a helicopter crash in the United States on Friday. Mr Wigwe died alongside his wife, son, and a former chairman of the Nigeria Exchange Group, Abimboloa Ogunbanjo.

“Further to its announcement dated February 11, 2024, the Board of Directors of Access Holdings Plc (‘the Company’) has today announced the appointment of Ms Bolaji Agbede as the Acting Group Chief Executive Officer of the Company following the unfortunate demise of its former Group Chief Executive Officer, Dr Herbert Wigwe, on February 9, 2024,” the company said in a statement Monday.

Ms Agbede joined Access Bank in 2003 as an Assistant General, with nearly three decades of professional experience cutting across banking and business consultancy services.

She served in different roles at the bank including, Head, Group Human Resources between 2010 and 2022 before she was appointed the company’s founding Executive Director, Business Support in 2022, a role she held until her new appointment.

Bolaji Agbede holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Lagos and a Master of Business Administration Degree from Cranfield University UK in 2002, the statement said, adding that she is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Management UK and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria.

The appointment is subject to the approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

“The appointment of Ms Bolaji Agbede is in alignment with our robust succession planning practices,” said Abubakar Jimoh, chairman of the company.

“We are strongly convinced that Ms Agbede, being the company’s most senior executive, with exceptionally rich, professional and leadership experience and understanding of the Access culture, would provide the much-needed leadership to steer the company towards the attainment of its strategic vision of building a globally connected community and ecosystem, inspired by AAfricafor the world.”

AFCON Final : Ivory Coast Will Defeat Super Eagles, Go home With The Cup—Nigerian Prophet Dr Kan Ebube Muonso

Self-proclaimed prophet, Dr. Kan Ebube Muonso of the Power and Victory in Christ Church, has made a prediction regarding the outcome of the AFCON 2023 tournament, foreseeing hosts Ivory Coast as the eventual winners.

“Ivory Coast will go home with the cup in error,” he stated confidently.

The management of Abia State University Teaching Hospital (ABSUTH) Aba, Abia State, is inviting the public to identify and claim this yet to be identified baby boy, about four or five years old, (pictured above) who has been recuperating at the Teaching Hospital since November 16, 2023 when he was rescued from the clutches of a suspected kidnap ring and brought to the hospital by a team of RRS operatives in the Enyimba city.

The boy, now nick-named "Miracle" by his nurses in the Teaching Hospital is still trying to recover from the trauma of allegedly being tied up and packaged inside a 'Ghana Must Go' bag by his abductors who were said to have been nabbed inside a tricycle on their way to probably dispose off the boy when they were pursued into the premises of the Methodist Church along Park Road, Aba by vigilant members of the public.

Although yet to recollect his memory following the sad incident, the boy, now in high spirits even as he plays alone in his crib, can now respond to calls and echo every word he hears.

Any information that may lead to the proper identification and reclaiming of the baby boy by his parents or other family members, especially this festive season would be most welcome and appreciated.

I went through domestic marriage and high rate of infidelity, I believe any man who wish the betterment of his home will secretly do whatever he wish to do just to protect his home mine was obviously done and when I portray any sign of caution I will be b€€n and sent out at times I held my son so tight thinking he will leave me if am carrying my son he will dr@g my son from my hands and continue with the b€.

I fought for the marriage in every dimension I was a hardworking wife I don’t make financial demands except I was given, I respected and loved him, my love was stronger I praise him in public and tell people how good he was to me including here on Facebook not knowing at times some post was made with bru¡s€s on my face People were envious of me telling me how lucky I am to have a loving husband I will smile and say is God oo i beg when his wrong and when am wrong just to keep my marriage.

Even as a married woman my mum still takes care of my Education and my needs all in the name I don’t want my husband to spend, i took his family as mine cos I wanted a family being an only child hasn’t really be fare on me which only I my mum and him was aware I bragged so much about him even when I wasn't benefiting from I knew I never married him because of what I stand to achieve I married him out of love and sincerity.

Each time I was b€€n , I will be sent out and whatever he got for me will be taken away yet I will come back begging it was tagged that I wasn’t being a good wife for the fact I keep coming back to beg shows that all fault was from me cos no woman will be treated this way and she remains except there is something she is not doing right.

I was scared of raising my son in a separated home not just that he was my First man and a man who took my pride, even while I was going through those pains i still wear in smiling face people envy me not knowing what I was passing through to the extend I was b€ while pregnant. I encountered several miscarriage before God blessed me with my Son Chibuikem.

I cloth myself and my son while he takes the glory the few people that knew what I was passing through encouraged me.

I was scared of sharing whatever I was going through with his family knowing he will be supported and couldn’t share with my mum cos she wasn’t really strong enough and the few time I told her about what I was going through all she did was to cry and told me to pray about that all will be fine due to i don’t wish to see her cry again I couldn’t share what ever I was going through with her again.

The last time I was b€ and sent out I knew I had a life outside of this marriage I knew I shouldn’t raise my son under a v¡0lent home I picked up courage and left knowing bit was the will of God for the fact I never left on my own I was chased out with my son for no reason regardless of it I never stopped him having access to his change even while he wasn’t taking responsibilities as a father.

Few people I shared how I was chased out by my husband asked me if I ch€ each time that questions comes up tears flows out from my eyes I know, I don’t know what s€x is all about till he came into my life. May I know no Good if I ch€ on his while under his roof and if I am innocent I leave it to God.

A lot of people were against me my name was tarnished even people that know nothing about me said a lot about me for living my home even when they never knew what I was passing through and not hearing my own side of story. Some came to and said your husband said a lot about you I didn’t listen to anyone cos I was never expecting him to say any good thing about me cos I didn’t come back begging as usual and I believed God knows everything"

Supreme Court okays Nnamdi Kanu’s trial, quashes order for his release

The Supreme Court, on Friday, nullified the judgment of Court of Appeal that ordered the Federal Government to release the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, from detention.

Though the apex court, in a unanimous decision by a five-member panel of Justices, acknowledged that FG acted “irresponsibly” when it forcefully brought Kanu back to the country from Kenya, against all known laws, however, it held that it was not enough to divest the trial court of its jurisdiction to continue with the case.

It held that there is no legislation in the country that stripped the trial court of the jurisdiction to go ahead with Kanu’s case, despite the illegal action that FG took against him.

In the judgement that was prepared by Justice Garba Mohammed but read by Justice Emmanuel Agim, the apex court held that the remedy open for Kanu was for him to institute a civil action against the government.

The court however slammed FG, saying it must be conscious of its image, both locally and internationally, even as it knocked the trial court for revoking Kanu’s bail after he escaped to save his life following the invasion of his home by security agents.

The IPOB leader, who was first arrested by security agents in Lagos on October 14, 2015, has been in detention since June 29, 2021.

Court Of Appeal Deals A Major Blow To ACB Agbazuere As It Dismisses His Application |

Hon. Ginger was vindicated by the Court of Appeal in Abuja today, as the court dismissed an application from Mr ACB Agbazuere to review a previous decision.

The court found that the application was without merit, and ordered ACB Agbazuere to pay a cost of 5 million naira.

Speaking with us, a source who monitored the court proceeding stated that yhis is a major victory for Hon. Ginger Onwusibe and his supporters, and demonstrates the strength of his case.

IGBERE TV recalls that the Court of Appeal sitting In Lagos upheld the election of Hon Ginger Onwusibe (Labour Party) as the member Representing Isiala Ngwa North and South Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives.

The Court dismissed the Appeal by PDP and Its candidate Prof A C B Agbazuere.

Assemblies of God Church Cancels Wedding after discovering that Bride to be was already Pregnant in Aba.

The Wedding between Mr Isreal Kennedy and Miss Rose scheduled to hold yesterday Sunday 26th November 2023 at Assemblies of God Church, No 15B Ikot Ekpene road Aba in Abia State was cancelled by the Church board after finding out that the bride to be was already Pregnant.

Assemblies Of God as a foremost Pentecostal Church forbids bride to be ,from getting pregnant before their Church Wedding Day.

A family member who confirmed the development to said after conducting pregnancy test on the bride to be, the church “found out that she was pregnant and announced that the wedding is hereby canceled”

It was further gathered that both the Bride to be and the Groom were Subsequently Suspended by the Constitution and Bylaws of the Church.
