If you are shocked that I'm asking this question, then read further.

The past week was a difficult week for me mentally.
Struggling to build my business, care for my family and thinking about the future too, at some point it got really overwhelming.

Building a coaching business from scratch can be everything you won't like.

So I completely understand why some experts think starting out by trying to be another coach is the right way to start.

But believe me, it isn't.

No one will buy your program if your product name sucks.

Everyday, I see the same recycled names or boring and unrelated names of products and I wonder what they think.

Your product name is the first impression, it conveys your product message faster than even your content.

Believe me when I say "no one builds an online brand from trying to be someone else.

If you are lucky, you can go away with it for a while but it will surely wither.

BUILDING A COMMUNITY IS DIFFERENT FROM GROWING FOLLOWERS, DO NOT MIX BOTH.

It can be really confusing when you are just starting out, at some point you begin to wonder the difference, I'm going to share signs that suggest you may be growing a following instead of community.

- Your followers do not engage with your content; I have seen people with reasonable number of followers and when they create valuable content, they struggle to even get up to 10 likes.

- Your followers are not interested in whatever you have to say, as stated in number 1 above, if you are gathering people who are not interested in what you do, you can never get engagement.

-You aren't making sales, 20k followers and you are still struggling to sell a low ticket offer, that means you are just growing followers.

HOW CAN YOU SOLVE THIS ISSUE OF GROWING AN UNINTERESTED AUDIENCE?

1. You want to be sure why you are existing online in the first place, this includes your goals, plans, messaging e.t.c

2. Stick to your strategy, goals and message; I see people switching personality everyday online, because you see the other person creating a particular type of content and getting engagement, you switch, it's a shiny object syndrome, heal from it.

3. Stick to your brand message no matter how long it will take, don't try to create content on personal development when you are trying to sell fitness lessons, you will attract people who won't buy from you.

4. Learn to collaborate with people in your level or slightly above your level, make sure these people share the same dream and are building the same audience as you.

Lastly, stay patient to the grind.

It will look like it's taking time but trust me, things will turn out great.
