Today, Saturday 13th of November 2021, Ten (10) elderly people were added to the Free Treatment Programme for the Elderly of Atayese Health Network at Odogbolu in Ogun State. This brings to Twenty (20) the number of people benefiting from Free Treatment at Atayese Hospital in Odogbolu.

The new entrants are sponsored by Otunba Senbore and Hon. Atinuke Bello who represents Odogbolu Local Government in Ogun State House of Assembly. The elderly will, in addition to free treatments (including hospitalisation), get free Blood Sugar Tests, Cholesterol Test and Kidney Function Test periodically.

The Atayese Healthy Network is reaching out to notable indigenes of Odogbolu and other kind-hearted people to help take the number of elders on the programme to One Hundred before the end of the year. The same is being planned for Isonyin also in Ogun State in the first quarter of 2022.

Hon Shuaib Ladejobi, Chairman Odogbolu LG advocates for tree planting

The chairman of Odogbolu Local Government Hon Shuaib Ladejobi says he shares the passion of the Ogun State Government ably led by our working Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun in providing critical green infrastructure in the state, notable is the Gateway City Gate at Abeokuta- Sagamu Interchange that makes our environment safer, healthier. He said this while advocate for tree planting in the local government for healthier living and a better environment.

He also said Green Infrastructure refers to any vegetative infrastructure system which enhances the natural environment through direct or indirect means, of which tree planting is among.Tree planting is very important for our environment because it provides shade, provides oxygen, cool the atmosphere, help conserve energy, prevent erosion and flood, saves our children from ultra-violet rays, provide food as well as reducing the effect of global warming among others.

Hon Ladejobi urges residents to embrace tree planting as one of the most reliable and cheapest means of combating the effect of global warming and climate change in our environment.

From Atayese Health Network

The Atayese Health Club have been in Odogbolu since April 2018 and our hospital opened its doors in September 2020 before the formal opening on October 1st 2020.

In September 2021, we will be having some activities to prepare for our anniversary in October 2021. These activities are to further ensure that we keep to our goal of making healthcare affordable and accessible to all.

The activities are:
1. Registration of 200 elderly people into the Free Emergency Care Programme of Atayese Health Network
2. Registration of Children Under-5 into the Children Easy Access to Healthcare
3. Raffle draws to pick 20 elderly people who are members of the Atayese Health Club for Comprehensive Free Treatment Programme. Presently, nine elderly people are benefiting from the programme.
4. Screening of people for Free Minor Surgeries in the Atayese Hospital. The surgeries will be done in October 2021
5. Introduction of Family membership scheme under the Atayese Health Club. Under this scheme, families will have Free Consultation and 20% in bills in the Atayese Hospital. Registration Fee and Monthly Fee will be announced in September 2021.

In the coming days, more information will be announced concerning these programmes.

I want to assure us all that the Atayese Health Network through the Health Club and Hospital will do it's best to ensure that every resident of Odogbolu Town has affordable access to good healthcare.
