Facebook is,if not the biggest social media platform on the internet.. it gives you the reach(audience)

With Facebook sponsored ads you can get up to millions of individuals who will either turn out to be your clients or customers.
When you place an ads, Facebook shows your ads to your targets audience..

So before placing ads, target is also a very big factor to put into consideration.
Know your audience and your targets.

Let's say for example I have a salon but I need to run an ads to bring in more customers.
: For me to get those specific customer, I should know that targeting people who likes hair and beauty products on Facebook would definitely bring in more sales.

Before you commence running Facebook ads
You should probably get all your checks in.
From knowing your set targets to ad placement to age, to videos and images to use.

Here are a few tips for getting your ads right

1. Choosing the right objectives and goals:
Knowing the right objective eg traffic objectives, message objectives, conversion object, etc is the first and foremost the right way to great Facebook ads. Each objective you choose will determine your choice of traffic(people) and conversions (results)you get.

Let's say you want to run ads for your phone business and you want people to message you directly for inquiries and where you can chat with them save those numbers for follow up in this case the right objective to choose would be the messenger objectives.
The reason is with messenger objectives they can contact you directly either through WhatsApp or through your Facebook messenger.

you make your Facebook promotion, you'll be approached to pick the target of your mission. You want to understand that you will probably have the option to settle on a promotion objective that best suits your business objectives.

2. Recognizing your target audience:
Identifying your target audience; Your target audience are people who are supposed to see your ads and take decisions
You don't just run ads to any person, nope.
You have to narrow down your targets, you have to get an audience(people) who will be interested in what services or proud that you are advertising.

If you are selling a wrist watch you should target an audience who shows interest in buying wrist watches, you don't need to target people who show interest in "Kitchenwares" if you do that your ads might not perform well.

So choosing the right people for your ads is very paramount.
You can also retarget your audience.
Have you ever wondered why you keep seeing particular ads all over every time you login into your Facebook? That is retargeting ads and it's a whole lot.

3. Ads creative: What ad creative would you like to use?
Would you prefer video images
If you are running ads for a product, videos are always the best to use.
Videos help to tell your audience the product's sharpness, size, colors, what it does, etc.
Explanatory videos are the best to use when running for products.
They are also services that need an image to add creatives. Choose the right one for you.

4. Ads budget: how much would you be spending per day? Or a week or even a month?
Your ads account is it dollar ads account or a naira ads account?
These should all be inclusive when choosing a budget.

5. Ads Placements: Where would you like your ads to be shown to your target audience?
Would you like them to see your ads while reading documentaries, while watching videos, on their story feeds, or on their news feeds?

6. Device placement: Where do you want them to see your products and services being advertised to them? On their phones or their laptops?

If you want to create slides, you can do it on Canva.

If you want to host a masterclass, you can do it on WhatsApp, Telegram or even a secret Facebook group

Heck, the list is long.

Look, it is not what you don't have that limits you, it is what you have but don't know how to use.

That Smartphone in your hands can change your life in the next 6-12 months if you know how to leverage it well.

If you can think enough, what you have is enough.
