THE VEIL IS RENT IN TWAIN!
Men in tormentor's garment mocking,
Women in tears mourning,
Daughters of Jerusalem stood afar watching,
The powers of the heavens were shaken
And the clouds were darkened
As the Lord Almighty, the only begotten
Yielded up the ghost crying "It is finished."
It is finished, yes "it is finished"
The statement of victory that let loose the captives of the grave
And shattered the prisons of the Hades
The strong statement that rent the veils
The perfect work of redemption
The priceless work of reconciliation
Was brought into conclusion
As the walls and fence of partition
Between man and the Holy One we have demolished.
The Holy One no longer lives within the veils
Rather in our hearts He seeks a place
A soul to give an amazing grace
To communicate with the immortal face to face.
No longer masked nor blind
No longer deprived nor denied
As the amazing grace I find
