Billionaire businessman and former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Dr. Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, becomes the Paramount ruler and the Owa Obokun of Ijeshaland, as Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State presents him with the instrument of office, following the earlier approval of his appointment.

Oba Adesuyi Haastrup served as the Deputy Governor of Osun State under the administration of the late older brother of the current Governor between January 1992 – November 1993.

He is the Founder/Chairman of ENL Consortium Limited, a multi-Million Dollar company with interest in Ports Operations; Mining; Hospitality and Tourism; Real Estate and Construction; Power Generation and Distribution.

Earlier this morning, the staff of Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) gave a heroic welcome to their Executive Chairman, Dr. Zacch Adedeji, at the Revenue House Headquarters of the Service in Abuja.

This is to appreciate his continued effort to better the lot of the workforce of the service, including: a mega salary increase; frequent training programmes to enhance their capacity, amongst other worker-friendly measures.

The Executuve Chairman was also been celebrated for providing the right leadership, which has made the service to exceed the revenue target for the year.

THE FAMILY OF CHIEF MICHEAL KOLEOSHO GIVES THEIR PATRIACH A BEFITTING BURIAL

The final funeral ceremony for the deceased political icon, elderstatesman, former Secretary to the Government of Oyo State of Oyo State and the Babalaje of Shaki Land, Chief Micheal Adeniyi Koleosho, OFR, held at Ajegunle Baptist Church, Shaki, Oyo State and was followed by a superlative reception at the old OYSADEP premises, Saki.

In attendance were the representative of the President of Nigeria, the Executive Chairman of FIRS, Dr. Zacch Adedeji; the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde; the Deputy Governor of the State, Barr. Adebayo Lawal; Senator Sarafadeen Alli; Senator Yunus Akintunde; the Corp Marshal of the FRSC, Alhaji Shehu Mohammed; the DG, China-Nigeria Strategic Partnership, Chief Joseph Tegbe; Dr..Tunji Olowolafe; Group CEO of Tulcan Energy; Dr. Tayo Adiatu; the Chairman of Bovas Petroleum Company; Arc. Bamidele Samson; Mr Ayo Abina; former Chairman of NCC, Professor Adeolu Akande; Senator Monsurat Sunmonu; Senator Soji Akanbi; member representing Shaki East/West/Atisbo, Hon. Tajudeen Abisodun; Major General Dapo Oyelade; President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention; Revd. Dr. Isreal Akanji; Archbishop Ayo Ladigbolu.

Others are former Deputy Governors of Oyo State: Engr. Hamid Gbadamosi; Chief Iyiola Oladokun; Barrister. Hazim Gbolarunmi; Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja and Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo, to mention a few.

On the band stand at the reception were: Tolu Obey and Mrs Ayo Balogun.

The deceased was blessed with seven (7) children, amongst whom are: Mrs Oluyemisi Koleosho; Dr. Olukayode Koleosho; Mr Tayo Koleosho (Chief of Staff to the EC of FIRS); Mrs Ajibola Peters; Brigadier General Adeyemi Koleosho; Mr Adegbenjo Koleosho, FCA and Mrs Mojisola Olupitan

The Executive Chairman of the FIRS, Dr. Zacch Adelabu Adedeji; Deputy Governor of Oyo State; Barr. Adebayo Lawal; Dr. Tunji Olowolafe; Senator Fatai Buhari; Senator Sarafadeen Alli; three former Deputy Governors of Oyo State, including: Engr.
