Let me just remind you of the importance of having an Annual Marketing Strategy.

A Marketing strategy is that document/plan that will save you from "Ahh. Val's day is coming and I have not run ads, let me run and do N3k own" 🥴

With a Marketing Strategy, you have a detailed monthly plan for your offline and online marketing efforts.

Stop Creating Content...
..until you fix up your bio 💪🏾

A GREAT bio consists of the following:
1. A memorable, simple and short username.

2. A profile picture that stands out.

3. A searchable name that describes who you are/what you do.

4. A catergory that represents your niche.

5. A "bio" that tells your target audience how you can help them. Please don't add "no scam zone here" 😭

6. A "link in bio" that houses your other important links even your WhatsApp (check mine for an example)

7. A contact button that allows people to reach you via other means.

8. A highlights section that is a summary of what you do, who you are and how you help people.

Make sure you have optimised all these BEFORE creating any content. Trust me, it makes a difference.

Transitioning from a business brand to a personal brand is something i should have done a long time ago but i was saying "even though, even though" *in 's voce*

Imposter syndrome has not helped the matter, sometimes I wake up wondering if I'm just a potato pretending to be a Digital marketer! 🥔

Oh! And pocrastination has become my middle name! Why work on that project when I can binge-watch on Priorities, am I right? 🤦‍♂️😂

But amidst the chaos, one thing's for sure: I'm going to show up! 🎉🎈 So cheers to the new me (and my faithful sidekick, Imposter Syndrome)!
