THE REASON WE DON'T HAVE ANGELIC VISITATIONS IN OUR HOMES 🏚️🏚️

Before God sent Jesus to the earth, He sent an Angel. And an Angel come to a home: Zacharias and Elisabeth. They were great renown believers, Christians as to call. And that’s the kind of a home that an Angel can get to.

And you know what I think today the reason that we don’t have no more Angelic visitations than we do? We who call ourselves Christians, play cards half the night, read old “True Story” magazines, have beer in the icebox. And that’s the reason Angels don’t visit us. You can’t mix oil and water.

It is not sufficient to teach Children godly values. It is even more important that Parents live exemplary Godly lives before their children. Then, bringing them up in the Faith becomes more impactful.
Children don't just do what you ask them to, they do what they see you do.

I don’t believe there’s any marriage can be what it ought to be without a union between husband and wife and God. That’s right. They’ll bring up children in the world, and make them illegitimates, give them ci******es, whiskey, play cards in their sight, drink liquor before them. No matter how loyal they are to their marriage vows, that’s sexually, that’s flesh. But there’s a spirit in there, that spirit of a sinner papa and mama, no matter how loyal to their children, will come wrong.

Well, you say, “I know men and women that didn’t teach their children that, and wasn’t Christians.” The very thing of not leading them to Christ was the wrongest thing they could ever do besides the other; not to lead them to Christ, see. So you can’t have a correct union without it. The fellowship broken.

QUESTION: Brother Branham, knowing that time is ending and eternity setting in, what would be your advice for a couple planning marriage?

ANSWER: Go right ahead and get married. See? Go right on just like if you was going to live for another hundred years here on earth. Just go right on; keep your heart set on Christ, not your hearts on these things of the world, but on Christ. See? Go right on; get married, children. God bless you in your weddings.

HOME LIFE IS RUNNING OUT

It used to be that father and mother loved and honored and cherished one another. And when she was old and gray, and wrinkled up, and her poor old face all drawed up, and her glasses hanging down over her nose, pop loved her just as well as he did when she was young and pretty.

But, today, I don’t mean to be critical, but when she gets a little old, he just swaps her for a new model. It seems to be that way, like swapping cars or something. It seems like that that real family love don’t exist much more. Just something has happened; home life is running out. We don’t have the old American home as we used to have it, long years ago.

And you take that vow before God, that only death will separate you. And I think we should…A man in his right mind, that’s planning a future, that he should choose that wife very careful. Be careful what you’re doing. And a woman choosing a husband, or accepting the choice of a husband, should be real careful what she’s doing, and especially in these days.
