Economy is Hard, Increase Your Tithe beyond 10% - Nigerian Pastor To Church Members

A Pastor has called on his members to increase their tithe and give God more than 10% as the Economy is biting hard.

According to him, inflation has affected House hold items reason every tithe giver must increase their tithe and give God generously.

Decongestion of roads commences in Onitsha Main Market following Soludo's orders.

Awka, Monday 18th July 2022 (MOI) All the illegal structures and shop extensions erected on the tarred roads along Bright Street and White House axis inside Onitsha Main Market were removed on Sunday 17th July.

The leader of the demolition taskforce, and Provost of the market Mr Felix Umerah said that the exercise was carried out in compliance with the directives of Anambra State Governor Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo.

Umerah, also a trader in Main Market disclosed that the governor had ordered all market executives in the State to decongest every entrance roads into their various markets to make way for free flow of human and vehicular movements.

"We are removing all the shop attachments and projections that block roads causing obstruction to movements to and fro this market, and reduce our level of sales and patronage from our customers".

Speaking to the government officials from Ministry of Commerce and Industry that visited the site, the Secretary of the market Mr. Obijekwu Barth Ifediora complained that some traders abandoned their shops to display their wares on the tarred roads, making movements along the roads almost impossible.

"We mobilized a joint taskforce with some security apparatus to rid the market roads of all obstructions, and to send these traders and huckters back into their respective shops.

"As you can see, two vehicles can now overtake each here, there will be normal and peaceful movements of humans and vehicles in these roads again. This is how roads ought to be ".

Another member of the decongestion committee Hon Victor Adizi thanked Governor Soludo, and the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry Dr. Obinna Ngonadi for the good works they are doing in the State.

He said that the governor's directive being enforced will create a conducive environment for business to thrive in Main Market.

Bianca and Ebele made news during the swearing in of Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo as the new governor of Anambra State. The duo in a viral video disrupted the process and after the scuffle, Mrs. Obiano who was left ruffled was seen on camera calling Bianca ”Ash.awo”.

The former beauty Queen who is the wife of late Odumegwu Ojukwu, said Ebele was noticeably absent as the inauguration ceremony started, but arrived about an hour later.

”I didn’t pay any attention to her arrival. Surprisingly, she then walked towards me and I thought she was coming to greet me. Instead she verbally attacked me with her voice raised, taunting me and asking me what I was there to do, using unprintable, vile language.

“She asked if I had come to celebrate their last day in office but I ignored her completely. Then she kept on aggressively putting her hand on my shoulders and shouting.

“While I ignored her verbal onslaught as advised by people sitting around me, I requested twice that she refrains from touching me with her hands. She proceeded to do so yet again and tried to touch my head and re.mov.e my hair tie. It was at this point I stood up to defend myself and gave her a d.ir.ty sla.p to stop her from att.ackin.g me.

As she made towards me, I then p.ulle d away her wig, she then held on to her wig with her two hands and tried to take the wig away from me.

“The former APGA chairman, Umeh, told her to leave me and told everyone to leave. I was stunned by the stench of whisky in her breath at such an early hour of the day.

“How could the first lady be so dr.unk at that time? I stayed back to watch the ceremony till the end and left with my dignity intact”.
