Important Update‼️

Computer Based Test for Anambra State Teachers' Recruitment Exercise.

The public is hereby informed that the Computer Based Test for Teachers' Recruitment Exercise in Anambra State has been scheduled to hold on Saturday 11th June, 2022.

The examination holding in batches will be at different designated CBT Centres and at different times.

The list will be uploaded shortly and applicants are advised to look out for their names, batches times and CBT Centres. Visit www.anambraministryofeducation.com/recruitment, Facebook and Twitter for further updates.

Press Release

After due consideration of the challenges experienced by candidates during the teachers' recruitment examination, Mr. Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has magnanimously nullified the examination and granted that a resit be taken as Computer Based Test.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh will give update on the arrangements and CBT centres for the examination.

Full Text: Peter Obi’s Letter To PDP

Former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi, has resigned his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party.

He has also withdrawn from the party's presidential race. He made the announcement in a letter that was made public on Wednesday.

The letter read, “Dear National Chairman,

“Resignation From Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Withdrawal From the Presidential Contest.

“I am writing to intimate you of my resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which was conveyed to the Chairman of Agulu Ward 2, Anaocha LGA Anambra, effective Friday 20 May, 2022.

“Consequently, I am by this letter informing you of my withdrawal for the PDP Presidential Primaries.

“It has been a great honour to contribute to nation-building efforts through our party. Unfortunately, recent developments within our party make it practically impossible to continue participating and making such constructive contributions.

“Our national challenges are deep-seated and require that we each make profound sacrifices towards rescuing our country. My commitment to rescuing Nigeria remains firm, even if the route differs.

“I wish to thank you personally for your graciousness and leadership. I wish you well and best of luck in the service of country.

"Sincerely,
