CROATIA OFFICIALLY JOINS THE SCHENGEN ZONE

Croatia has officially been accepted into the Schengen Union

On January 1, 2023, Croatia will become the 27th country of the Schengen area. As of today, border and customs checks will be abolished at the borders between Croatia and other Schengen member states for people crossing the borders by road, rail or water.

This means that from next year,you can now freely board Air France, KLM and Lufthansa to Croatia if you want to access the Schengen zone.

Romania and Bulgaria are yet to succeed due to fears of weak border control leading to illegal migration through their borders.

To all my travelling clients, this is really a good option.
