Went to office at Shomolu this morning just to purchase a Mifi device for work and I was surprised to see other customers locked outside not knowing it was applicable to me too. But then regardless of what they came for, are they not supposed to be welcomed first?

Well I was answered at the gate after waiting there for a while. It makes me feel like if this is me, what of others?

is this all we deserve or there’s more to it.
Locking us outside your premises while trying to patronize you isn’t keeping safe, but it simply shows you don’t value us for anything.

Not even allowing us to the canopy to shade the sun and a chair to rest our bones while we wait as much as your staffs wishes.

Truth is, I’ll visit another of your branch to get the device but please, place some value on us, we deserved it; even if it’s a customer that buys N100 call card per month.

Facebook for Business I just want say a big thank you for making this year fun with a great learning opportunity that has added so much to my career growth.

The career transition, progression and navigation for me has been a “crazy one” but one thing I do for me is making sure I don’t tap out. How I move so fast I can’t say. Even if I tell you, you won’t understand.

2020 might not look like it but it’s not what it would have been. If you ask me, it’s been the greatest year of my career so far and still counting. I’ve been through a lot but I ain’t feel a thing. This year ending on Friday 24th has been one great birth year to reckon with and I’m most grateful to God for all he’s done.

Looking at all these badges in my gallery feels really cool but most of all reminds me of how much more I can do, hence the zeal to go for more.

Lastly, with my birthday in two days from now (Friday 24th), I couldn’t get me a better gift than these and thanks to the team at Facebook.

The only person you owe that responsibility to is GOD. The only reason you believe your life depends on some type of dude with a collar and a Bible is because you’ve fail to build you to that point where you can understand when HE is talking to you or probably you ain’t even listening to HIM which you should.

I listen to people but my life, choices, actions or beliefs are not base on them or am I depending on any of their sayings. I do what I want, when I can and how I can.
One thing I keep in mind always is the fact that GRACE IS FROM HIM.

If I’ve got one thing to tell you that’ll be “JUST GO AHEAD AND DO YOU FOR HIS GLORY ALONE”.

Sometimes you need to move differently but how about you make it a lifestyle by MOVING DIFFERENTLY ALWAYS.

There’s no wrong or right to life in real sense, what works for me might not work for you which is why you need to draw your own plan and stick to it than stick your sense into another mans plan.

Because It’s Monday: working from home can’t be more fun than this.

After the Official Global Team Briefing this morning. It’s fun to know that PRO year has just began and this year will be another amazing career year.

New team members and new rules to work - all exciting. Working From Home is actually something I’ve been up to but it’s now a regular drill for the entire year, sweet. Also, congratulations to all the Amazing 20 that will be selected this week - in advance. Can’t wait to see you.

For those that will not make the list for the cohort, keep trying and keep getting better at what you’re passionate about. Don’t forget that the more better you get the more qualified you become for more opportunities. There’s always someone out there ready to help and it might be me!

Yes, it’s not too late to start your year and it’s not about when you start but what you can do with the time you have.

Remember we started growing a garden from the concrete as of Jan for those that start early like me. It’s yet another month to add more beautiful flowers to it and water the existing ones. On this journey of self-development, there are no days off.

So for this month, I hope you see it the way I do:
Focused, Resilient, Self Motivated, Positive and Determined to do more. Stretch beyond your limits and you beat their imaginations. You can because you can.

To my comrades in the profession resuming work tomorrow for the year and even those that didn’t even have a break. I have a piece of information for you, if it’s good for you, you may take it as an advice.

First of all, I trust you had a great holiday and I’m sure you’ve visited all the friends and families you can, I mean enough to last you for the year to avoid silly excuses at work this year. Excuses like, your mother is sick; your father is dying again. That’s just by the way but then know it that the more you are granted permission at work the more your chances are getting slimmer and there’s nothing like my village people here, you cause it all. Learn now that it is still safe.

Just to help you accelerate the process of remembering what your work entails; In case the holiday has tempered with your thoughts process. I know most people have a way of enjoying and forgetting what’s important to them even like their job routines/requirements.
Here it is: your work entails ‘Research, Strategy, Tracking, and Optimization’.

I’m not here to teach you but let’s just do a small recap of each point above to help you kick-start.

Research: You and I know pretty well that research is very important in all we do. It helps us understand situations, processes, and occurrences. Also, it gives us proven clues as to how and why we should go a certain direction or take certain steps/actions when planning new solutions.

Strategy: This is the heart of every innovation and process trust me. I’m still waiting for someone who can point me to something that was done without a strategy and it was successful. “A successful research gives birth to a successful strategy” the two cannot stand alone or function in isolation. Your strategy depends on what insights you gather from your research and that helps make a successful or winning plan for any project or task you may have to execute.

Tracking: it’s not enough to have the best idea, strategy or ex*****on plan without a proper tracking system in place. It’s not even enough to have a tracking system without tracking, as every project or task should be a benchmark to the next one. You can’t afford to make the same mistake twice; that’s why you need to track and measure. Tracking helps you measure your success beyond the surface.

Optimization: You will agree with me that the main aim of tracking, monitoring and evaluating is to optimize to get a better result. Where this is not considered, then tracking is a wasted effort. I’m sure nobody wants to buy a car he would not drive, hence tracking without optimization. Optimization helps you put things in order where you fail to initially or where didn’t know and also helps you make processes seamless. Without optimization, many projects or tasks will be bastardized without tangible results.

EXTRA: This is important for the managers, big or small. You should know the importance of planning.

Planning: I normally take this to be the core of everything because it’s often said: “If you fail to plan you plan to fail.” That’s enough point for you to know why planning is key. Then, planning makes the process easy and seamless. Planning helps you get clear insights into the steps necessary for success. Without planning, ex*****on can be difficult.

Lastly, I hope you didn’t just go for a holiday to catch fun and fun only. If you didn’t get to learn something new that will add value to your work, you made a big mistake because others out there are not sleeping so you shouldn’t. But then you can still do some more this month, it’s not too late to do something new. No matter what you do or where you find yourself, always strive to add value to yourself by learning something new and the place you are by doing something different. Cheers to a great beginning at work.
