From A Murderer To a god!

Acts 28:4 KJV
And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.

Many times do people judge you base on your past . Or what they have heard about you without giving you the opportunity to prove yourself. Some don't even believe in your change or give you opportunity to live or be your change.

Such was the case of Paul The Missionary. He had face a severe storm on the sea called Euroclydon. They had barely survived and now A Beast (A dangerous and Poisonous snake) had sunk it's dealy fangs into his hand and would not let go.

He was called a Murderer!

Historically, they were correct. Paul indeed was a Murderer!

He had consented to the death of Stephen and Taken leave of the Chief Priest to go Imprison or even kill Christians in Damascus.

But He had an encounter. He was Changed. Transformed!

Yes, Maybe he should have fall down, swell and die but then A new law is now at work in Him.

Romans 8:2 KJV
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

He is now free from the Law of Sin and Death. The consequences of been 'a Murderer' as they claimed was that the Poisonous Snake should kill him. So they watched and waited.

But we're disappointed.
Men are always watching to see the worst in us because they expect the worst. But God will always come through for us.

Nay, A New law was now at work in Him. It is the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus.

So, this law was what made of no effect on Him the consequences of sin. That Demon Serpent had no Dominion over him.

You See, Even physically, as a Born Again believer, we are free from the Physical consequences of sin. Eg sickness, diseases, poverty, setback etc.

Poison has no effect on a believer. Jesus assured us of that. Simply Believe it.

Notice Paul did not do any special prayer. He simply shook the beast into the fire and just kept living.

By this new Life in you. Just keep Living!

Acts 28:6 KJV
Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.

The same people who called him Murderer now also called Him 'A god'.

My dear, live your life!

You are the one that will determine people's conclusion on you. Live your life!

The Murderer-god also became Their Healer. Vs 9.

People may judge you wrongly but Let the life of Christ in you show the difference.
