It is said that you can never deliver the goods if your heart is heavier than the load. Explaining the fact that you need to understand the need to serve humanity before engaging into it. Coupled with reasons why you should sacrifice your windows might, giving out your very best big or small.

Light Up Africa is set to engage in its first project and cannot do all of these alone, the whole team from within and outside the country are soliciting for your kind support.

OFFICIAL KICKOFF OF THE SUPPORT YOUNG GIRLS CAMPAIGN, SEASON TWO.

Having completed the first phase of the "Support Young Girls Campaign", it is only right to go on to the next level of touching and impacting lives, with the right information.

It is no longer news that, young girls from 13-19 years are victims of different disheartening situations such as, deceit from men, money as bait for s*x, r**e, premarital s*x,unwanted pregnancies, s*xually transmitted diseases and I dare say the worst; being married off to old men as wives.

The sole aim of the SUPPORT YOUNG GIRLS CAMPAIGN, is to educate and sensitize young girls in our city/cities, that they have the right to say NO to whatever will mar their future, and the right to say YES to whatever will make their future.

The SUPPORT YOUNG GIRLS CAMPAIGN, is here to list out to them through intense training and mentorship how to decipher what to say NO, to and what to say YES, to. To let them know that they have a team that understands whatever hard time it is they face as young girls, and are ready to support and mentor them.

In the first season, we recorded a good number of volunteers who, out of love for humanity, gave out time and resources to this project. With cooperation from the team, staff and the students of SALIHU DOGO GOVERNMENT DAY SECONDARY SCHOOL, the first season was the best of its kind, seeing that it changed poor mindsets and mentalities to great ones.

The second season of this project is set to be bigger and better! With series of online and onsite meetings, the team (which has grown from fifteen volunteer members to sixty two) is guaranteeing maximum attention with their time and resources, to see that young girls are being sensitized and mentored.

The first school we will be kick-starting the second season with, is Federal Government Girls College, JALINGO, TARABA STATE. The date will be communicated soon, on our social media platforms.
