OUR LEADERSHIP WILL NOT CONDONE ANY KIND OF ELECTORAL MALPRACTICE; WE SHALL REVIVE ALL THE STRUCTURES OF THE PARTY BEFORE THE PARTY PRIMARIES: Hon. Umar Zakariyyau Rabba.

Thursday 17th March, 2022.

Ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) scheduled National Congress, the leadership of the party at the Zonal level in Niger South headed by Hon. Umar Zakariyyau Rabba has reiterated his readiness to promote a culture of transparency and accountability as the party begins preparations for the 2023 general elections.

Hon. Umar Zakariyyau Rabba who chairs the Zonal office in Niger South and also doubles as the party’s vice Chairman was very categorical about how he intend to revive all the structures of the party by bringing all the stakeholders in-line and working assiduously in ensuring that all hand are on deck in leading the party to victory in 2023.

Hon. Zakariyyau who made the remark during a phone-in interview with a correspondent from MAS Media Consult also hinted on how the party is working toward engaging the youths and traditional institutions in fostering the spirit of inclusivity and giving everyone a deserved sense of belonging in the party.

“The party belongs to all of us and we shall do everything possible to make the party for and about everyone”…. He continued…. “We will revive all the organs of the party that are in the forefront in orientation and mobilization, we shall sit and engage the electorates in a manner that convince them about the party’s achievements and prospects” he remarked!

When asked about the intermittent instability in the party, Hon. Zakariyyau said that there is a likelihood of saboteurs within the government and the party that are desirous of making the party ‘bleed’ for one personal reasons or the other but he maintained that those grey areas will be attended to and the party will come out of it stronger.

Hon. Zakariyyau also re-assured that contrary to the ongoing narrative from mischief makers, the leadership of the party under their stewardship will ensure that no foul play will be condoned or contemplated. No any kind of electoral manipulation will be allowed and anyone with such intention is advised to have a rethink or face the eventual consequences.

WHY KIN NUPE MUST PUT EXCEPTIONS TO ZONING IN LEGISLATIVE REPRESENTATIONS (a case study of Bida-Gbako-Katcha Federal Constituency).

Saturday, 8th May, 2021.

Political structures and ideologies in Kin Nupe are banded in such a way that the bigger picture is often overlooked especially as it relates to representations at the Apex or National Assembly. Our people are often blinded by regional and ethnical sentiments that we rather inconsiderately throw competence overboard to gratify our regional and ethnical biases.

Records has shown that making it to the National Assembly is more like a tip of an iceberg as succeeding as a lawmaker and a voice of reason to your constituency there is majorly the Herculean task. The National Assembly is such a place that you must first study and understand and then explore by building Bridges and networks which will eventually propel you into a cynosure among your colleagues.

Building networks at the legislative chamber is always the key and the major factor that inspires success at that congregation. Many first timers suffers and often gets overwhelmed by the intricacies of the National Assembly because they're neither familiar with the procedures and processes at the chamber nor are they connected to the fraternities that get things done without much ado.

The duo of Mai Solar and Bago and even recently Lado Suleja are succeeding at the National Assembly because after using their first terms to build bridges and established cordial relationships, they're now using their second and subsequent terms to explore and attract enviable benefits to their various constituency ranging from infrastructure to human capital development.

The situation in Kin Nupe is however not the same because we are with the habit of substituting our representatives on first attempt over flimsy excuses like zoning arrangements and other divisive tendencies. We hardly look at the bigger picture in Kin Nupe. We neither give our representatives that needed benefits of doubt nor allow them settle before uprooting them. We prefer we have first timers always disregarding the minimal benefits such arrangements would attract.

Bida, Gbako, Katcha Federal Constituency is our case study because the situation there is peculiar and somewhat define our present realities. For the first time in that Constituency, they have produced a representative in Hon. Saidu Musa Abdul who has against all odds established a very cordial relationship at the National Assembly. As a first timer, Hon. SMA as he's fondly called as built bridges that will enable him attract enormous benefits to his Federal Constituency later and or in his second and subsequent terms.

SMA symbolises that enigmatic personality having perfected and established himself as a cynosure of all eyes. SMA being one of the most familiar first timer in the history of the National Assembly didn't happen by accident, it took him calculated risks and abidance to the rules of engagements and personal wisdom to attain that feat and that alone speaks volume of what lies ahead and what he's capable of achieving in the long run.

Zoning arrangements aren't entirely despicable when done for good reasons but those reasons shouldn't include sacrificing the greater goods for mere regional and ethnical sentiments. The arrangements itself isn't absolute as it ought to be subjective to exceptions and SMA is one of such exceptions. The facts remain that should SMA decides to contest again, the benefits he will attract to his Constituency having gotten the needed background and connections, another first timer can not and that is the optimum price.

SMA has shown through words and actions that we can do more and ideally without prejudice or any forms of bias, his demeanor has proven that he truly can. It shouldn't matter which Local Government he comes from as his dividends from records touches and will continue to touch and reflect in all the three Local Government Areas he is representing.

Bida-Gbako-Katcha has never had it this good and it will only spell doom if they allow the opportunity to repeat SMA slip. Other Federal Constituencies in Kin Nupe can equally take a cue. Let zoning remain but explore its exception when the need arises just like SMA and few others has proven to be an exception.

REP. SAIDU MUSA ABDULLAHI AND THE REVELATION:Political revelations in Kin Nupe manifests once or twice within every two ...

REP. SAIDU MUSA ABDULLAHI AND THE REVELATION:

Political revelations in Kin Nupe manifests once or twice within every two decades as attested to by obvious precedents. Political historians from Kin Nupe can also confirm in the affirmative how rare such occurrences has been in prevalence and how often such anticipatory manifest solidify in factuality.

The recent decades gave us Prof. Jerry Gana, Sen. Isah Mohammed, Alh. Saidu Alhassan Kpaki, Engr. Abdulkadir Kure and etcetera, most of whom exploits in the National and State politics gave Kin Nupe a new high in political facelift.

A new decade now beckons upon us and like it's always obtainable, more revelations are already in the offing prominent among which is the political, social and administrative trenchancy of Rep. Saidu Musa Abdullahi. Year 2020 with all the sad events that enveloped it offered more to be proud than to be enclaved in the melancholy of sadness for the people Rep. SMA represents.

The good people of Bida/Gbako/Katcha Federal Constituency surely had a feel of what it is like to be ably represented, honorably and with great enthusiasm and patriotic zeal.

Stepping up with his readiness heavily put to question and his youthful exuberance mistaken for political recklessness, Rep. SMA has since left tongues wagging in surprises as he has proven beyond all doubts that he's not just pro people but pro humanity who is set out to leave a lasting political and social legacies that will be remembered for ages.

The GOROZON NUPE as he was recently turbaned by the Etsu Nupe; HRH Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar speaks volume of how acceptable and revered Rep. SMA has become in Kin Nupe with his stewardships that steers toward elevating Kin Nupe's political image beyond the shores of Niger State.

Rep. SMA's steadiness in facilitating and sponsoring mega projects within his constituency has cast away every doubts that undermines his genuine intention of metamorphosing his consultancy to a destination of honor and envy infrastructural wise. In Bida alone, the truth is speaking for itself and so are other communities in Gbako and Katcha local government areas that made up his Federal Constituency.

The gusto and fervency with which Rep. SMA carry out is stewardships coupled with the theatrics that stem from how his predecessor Hon. Bala Faruk paved way for him and how enviably he has perfectly danced to the tune of his people by given them what they want and at the time they desire it are compelling reasons to believe Rep. SMA might be the political revelation of this decade from Kin Nupe.

HOW DOES HE DO IT?

The above question has been on the lips of many political spectators within and outside the state. Many had wondered how a first timer had managed to gather so much influence within the caucuses at the National Assembly and with that gathered influence facilitated projects to his constituency.

Many seems to have forgotten how prepared Rep. SMA came with "a voice for you" slogan. SMA before becoming a federal legislature had practically assessed the wants of his people and was aimed at proffering or meeting up with those wants and that has made his work easier. He has targets and he is working assiduously in catching up with them.

From securing Federal pensionable appointments for his constituents to attracting mega projects across his constituency to also empowering thousands with educational and entrepreneurial incentives to being a voice that puts the interest of his constituents on the national scale, Rep. SMA still doesn't look tired as he's having more on his sleeve to offer his constituency as buttressed by his recent undertakings.

REP. SMA IS THE REVELATION.

After a decade and half, Kin Nupe is finally witnessing a new wave of political pattern that stand to promote the ingenuity and value chain of Nupe Kingdom through political highlights that enhances the general perceptions of others about Kin Nupe and its brand of politics.

The above point was reiterated when Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila recently payed a 'thank you' homage to the Etsu Nupe for finding Rep. SMA worthy of adorning with the prestigious title of GOROZON NUPE. Hon. Gbajabiamila without mincing words congratulated the entire Nupe Kingdom for having a representative in Rep. SMA. Hon. Gbajabiamila asserted that with Rep. SMA representing Kin Nupe's interest, the best was yet to come.

With the GOROZON NUPE'S determination and commitment so far to the task ahead, it's almost certain that the best we have seen about him is quite sure to be surpassed by him before the end of his 4years tenure.

To be continued!
