Emotional unavailability and toxic indifference (aka “hard guy” syndrome) have become the norm when it comes to relationships: it can discourage those that just want to love and be loved🥲

So this post is my message to you: do not let them change you!!!

Do not fall into that trap of “who calls first” or “who says I love you first” or “who shows emotions the most”.

In a world where hurt people hurt people, it’s such a blessing to find someone with a heart like yours; a heart that still finds a way to love and show it shamelessly, regardless of the murky past.

You are a blessing; NEVER FORGET THAT🥰

Karma is a dish best served cold, or is it revenge? Okay, it’s revenge.
But Karma serves; it’s just the law of nature.
You reap what you sow.
The energy you put out, comes back to you.

This is why I’m now very careful about the people I let into my life because once I allow negative energies in, they corrupt my positivity (and we don’t want that😉).

As a person that works a day job and includes other things like business, writing, and social media channels, I am FULLY AWARE of what stress can do to a person.

I wrote this lying in bed, tired from within and without, wishing I was on a vacation somewhere “filling up” the vacuum; then it dawned on me
this is my escapism.

And we all have things we use to “escape” the chaos that is life; it can be clothing items, designer bags, gadgets, other people…

The truth is, if we cannot find our core balance and remain in that secure place no matter what we use to find happiness, it is only fleeting, never to remain with us forever. What’s more, we become reliant on external forces to hold us steady and that in itself, is a grave mistake.

So unlike in the past where I used travel to escape, this time I use it to return back to my core balance and if I can’t, then I embrace the chaos and still maintain my inner peace, tired as I may be.

I think it would be smart for you to do the same. Remember, YOU HOLD THE KEY TO YOUR OWN HAPPINESS!!!
