About 5years ago, it was speculated Mr Ibu was paid about 80million by GOtv for ambassadorship. And also GLO, about 20-30million. Same with Chiwetalu Agu and some other aging Nollywood stars. Amaechi Muonago had series of advert he got paid for and other contracts, not adding up the pay as an actor.

The question I have asked myself a thousand times is where are all the monies? The deal, the contract etc! Where did they bury it. I am ashamed on behalf of these actors each time they are sick and they appear online for help. Like, what in the blue-hell happened to all they have earned all through the years? Even people who don't get paid half of what they are paid take care of their health when it is worse. And I ask, did they use the money to train their kids? Fine, their kids should be taking care of them. Or was it house rent? Like, they had no investment with all the millions they are paid? Today, Natty Bruce, the Karat Nollywood karate king died too. Report came he died from the said hardship that has ravaged the Nollywood legends: sickness.

We have had Clem Ohameze came online to beg for help while sick. Ernest Asuzu suffered liver disease and died even after been helped online. James, Obi Madubugwu and the list so long have all come online for help and many of them couldn't still make it. The question is, are these men not being paid enough to save and invest against those terrible times? Even the ones paid in millions. What happened to the money? Please don't get me wrong. I am not judging these men, not even a spite. I am making a statement for our youths who have future. You have to start saving and investing no matter the amount of money you make now. You have to be deliberate about this. I don't know who is reading this but please, in the name of God you serve, start saving and diversifying your income, the grass does not remain greener always. There are times it withers.

Igbo Woman from Ndoni.
She's wearing Odu anklets which is worn by titled Igbo women of the Otu Odu society.
Outside Onitsha & Asaba, it is known as the Iyom title.
As a descendant of Mmaku, father of Ikenga and grandfather of Nnewi the founding ancestor of my hometown Nnewi (North), I have a special love for Ndoni.
Our original dialect (before assimilation into Anambra Igbo dialect) is based on Ndoni Igbo dialect because some of my ancestors came from the Ndoni area and settled in Anambra around the 15th century.
Our central Deity is Ezemewi, husband of our central goddess Edo Agbaja (The popular bank road which connects their shrines is still known as Edo-Ezemewi road while Nnewi is also known as Anaedo in honour of Edo, the goddess).
Ezemewi is known by the elders as Ugili nwa onye olu i.e. Ugili child of Olu people.
Olu/Oru refer to riverine Igbos and Ndoni is in the Niger Delta.
Religious shrines do contain the history of those who worship in it. In other words, our church archives will be used by future generations to gain knowledge of their past history whilst our ancestral shrines can inform us about our ancestral history.
For instance; when travelling to a far away land, our ancestors would take a chalk (Nzu) from the shrine of their central deity.
They then deposited this chalk and built a shrine in their new settlement. The new deity was usually named after the original one. So if the Original one is Agbala or Ogwugwu, the new one will be Nwa-Agbala or Nwangwu. Igbo mythology also includes details of the ‘lives’ of deities for instance I know Nnewi is considered an Edo Agbaja town because Edo was once married to a deity from Agbaja in Abatete.
So, when we go around destroying the holy places of our ancestors, we are also erasing our own history! We have to preserve them for future generations! O di mkpa!
Preserving them doesn't imply leaving your Christian shrine to worship at an Odinani shrine.
It means respecting and protecting them in the same way Europ

TWO MEN CANNOT HAVE A BIOLOGICAL CHILD!

Through out the history of the world, a child has to come from one man and one woman.
Two men cannot have a biological child, and two women cannot have one either.
For the reason imputed above make it impossible for Ette people to be Igala and Idoma by origin.
So, if two men cannot fathered a child, what reason on earth can qualified the notion which says "Ette people are Igala and idoma by origin"?

The first edition of Ette day 2019 said "Ette is one" while Ette day 2020 says "One people, Great future" because we are one indivisible family from one father but different mothers just the way I understand it. But hearing the same people saying " Ette people are Igala and idoma by origin" get me confused.

I will be grateful if anyone among you can explains why Ette is one 2019 and One people, great future 2020 but still yet we are of two origin according to some people, why?? These two slogans initiated by Ette day planning committee (2019&2020) carried a lot of goodies messages but still afraid to disclosed the identity of our progenitor. A house without a solid foundation will not last.

The aims and objectives of Ette day should as matters of urgency be disclose because no reasonable children will celebrate their progenitor's day who the identity is not known.
Ette day is all about Ette (Ete) himself and his descendants. Ette day is beautiful and those who initiated this great ideas are wonderful but it will be fools of them if they cannot summoned courage to tell us the origin of Ette in the midst of this controversy about Ette origin.
Is this politics or reality???
