COVID 19 IN LAGOS IS CAUSING MUCH DAMAGE
It is so so sad that lagosians find it hard to listen and obey simple rules and regulations... Numerous number of cases has been confirmed in the last 72hours all because the people keep saying they are looking for what to eat and all.

Well I won't pust all the blame on the people because truly they need to eat and fend for their families, if I must say, the government is not really helping matters on ground that is why all this is happening.

is so so sad that lagosians find it hard to listen and obey simple rules and regulations... Numerous number of cases has been confirmed in the last 72hours all because the people keep saying they are looking for what to eat and all.

Well I won't pust all the blame on the people because truly they need to eat and fend for their families, if I must say, the government is not really helping matters on ground that is why all this is happening. I see nothing bad and wrong if the government can assist in the little way that they can. I am very sure the government should have access to our Bank details and if they can at least give we the citizens something little nor tangible be it #5000 monthly it would help seriously.

I strongly believe if this is done by the government surely the way and manner in which people go out all because they need to survive, would drastically reduce by so doing the spread of Corona virus not be in large number like we've been getting in the past few days.

I just pray and hope that the good Lord in his infinite mercy continue to Guide, Bless and Protect us all. I see nothing bad and wrong if the government can assist in the little way that they can. What eating late at night cause
We all know that late night eating isn't best for the body as it causes complications to our systems

1.Weight gain: Research has proven time without number that people who eat late at night weigh more than those who eat their meals earlier in the day. Eating late at night causes people to gain weight due to the reduction of the body's ability to burn fat and the individual ends up storing carbohydrate which also lead to weight gain and high pressure

2.Increases risk of diabetes and hearth disease: Eating late at night also raises your risk of diabetes and heart disease. Researchers found out that late night eating can raise insulin, and fasting glucose levels. Elevated levels of insulin and glucose are precursors of prediabetes and eventually diabetes,late night eating can also increase cholesterol and triglycerides which are types of fat found in the blood and can increase risk of heart disease

3.Acid reflux: When we eat is just as important as what we eat. Eating too close to bed time can trigger acid reflux and heartburn. Researchers suggests eating a light dinner u allow to 2-3 hours between dinner and bedtime. Eating a heavy dinner between an hour of going to sleep could cause a sleepless night and burning chest pain and it's best to avoid carbonated drinks, alcohol thin to 2-3 hours before bedtimes they can trigger acid relux as well

GOVERNOR SEYI MAKINDE SACKS HIS MEDIA AIDE

Representative Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, on Friday, discharged his Special Assistant on Digital Media, Mr Muritala Olajide Adigun, with quick impact over what was assembled as taking care of general society with deluding data.

This was passed on in the end of the arrangement letter gave by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mrs Olubamiwo Adeosun, with a reference number: SP/S.662/2/Vol1/115.

Some portion of the end of arrangement letter read: "I wish to pass on the endorsement of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, on the end of your arrangement as Special Assistant (Digital Media), with quick impact."

The sacked media helper recklessly posted unsubstantiated data on his page, which ended up being bogus data. Furthermore, this prompted a progression of backfires on the administration.

He was claimed to have taken the image of one of the undertakings executed by the Lagos State Government, posting it on his page, attributing the tasks to Governor Makinde's activities.

In his quick reaction to the claim of copyright infringement, Mr Adigun was cited to have composed on his page that:

Chloroquine not approved for coronavirus treatment – NCDC warns

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has warned that Chloroquine has not been approved for treatment of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu, Director General of NCDC, gave the warning in Abuja on Thursday, while reacting to the recent media reports that suggested that chloroquine could protect people from COVID-19 or treat COVID-19 in patients.

”Nigerians should please remember that the use of chloroquine and its derivatives for the management of COVID-19 disease has not been validated and approved by the World Health Organisation (WHO)”.

”There have been promising results by researchers but until then, the drug is not approved for use for COVID-19 treatment.

”Nigerians should know that self-medication can cause harm and lead to death.

“Do not misuse drugs. We understand these are challenging times, and Nigerians may be worried, but the Federal Ministry of Health(FMoH), through the NCDC is doing everything it can to continue to ensure the safety and health security of every Nigerian.

“Chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine have not been licensed to treat COVID-19 related symptoms or prevent infection,” he said.

The NCDC boss said that clinical trials were still ongoing to test chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine as an agent in the treatment of COVID-19 or to prevent COVID-19 infection.

He said that these clinical trials were still not completed, so no conclusions have been reached on the safety and effectiveness of this medicine to treat or prevent COVID-19.

He said that until the WHO, have clear, definitive evidence that these treatments were safe and effective for the treatment of COVID-19, it should not be misused.

In addition to responding to the outbreak, NCDC has begun a communications campaign to debunk misinformation and provide Nigerians with facts to protect their health.
