PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has defeated president Buhari in the presidential election that took place in one of the polling units inside the presidential villa, Abuja. .
Atiku pulled a total of 84 votes to defeat President Buhari who pulled a total of 73 votes.

Lagos High Court has ordered the arrest of Jay-Jay Okocha for failure to appear in court to answer why he allegedly failed to pay his income tax. The former Super Eagles star has repeatedly failed to appear before the court to answer why he allegedly failed to pay his income taxes. Sidechic nabbed while dumping her lover’s co**se in a bush

A woman, who attempted to dump the body of his man-friend, has been arrested by the Ogun State police command. .
The suspect, Aderonke Ayinde, attempted to dump the body of Mr. Asimi Abiodun, in a bush near her house.

According to the police, the deceased who was a man-friend of the suspect, came to spend the night with her at her Abeokuta residence, but died in a questionable manner.

The command’s spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, indicated that the suspect later in the night, attempted to dump the body in a nearby bush “not knowing that somebody around the area was observing the whole thing”.

“On interrogation, the suspect claimed that the deceased was her long time lover who used to pass the night in her place.
However, on that fateful day, he came as usual, but suddenly developed a strange illness in the night and before she could call for help, he gave up the ghost. She confessed that she wanted to dump the body out of fear.”

A 19-year- old man has been arrested for allegedly stealing a pair of female underwear in Odoakpu, Onitsha in Anambra State. The suspect, Chinonye Okorie, of Mbaitolu, Imo State, was apprehended with the pant by the police in the area. Parading the suspect on Thursday at the police headquarters in Amawbia, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Mohammed, said the suspect stole the pant for alleged ritual purpose.
