Are there enough nutrients in your diet?
It's one thing to eat, it's another to be getting the nutrients you need to maintain your health.
Your nutrition is fundamental to your health program. Everything else will not work without it.
So while we eat so many things each day, the real concern is, are there enough nutrients?
Is your skin thanking you?
Your eyes? Other organs?
How about your reproductive health, your hormones?
Are infections not letting you rest? Your immune system won't just fight off diseases?
Are your bones happy? Your nerves, joints?
Does your body even let you perform as you would like to? Or is your libido crawling?

The nutrients in the foods you eat is central to all that. So here's the question again, are you getting enough nutrients in your diet?

Vitamin C is one of the most important nutrients you need for daily living.

💥 Vitamin C helps to improve your immunity system, helping your body to fight off infection & quickly recover from wounds.
💥 Vitamin C helps your body to make collagen, a nutrient that is vital for your joint & skin.
💥 Vitamin C helps your body to make use of iron from fruits & vegetables.
💥 Being deficient of vitamin C can cause you many health problems.

When you think of it, oranges have lots of vitamin C. In fact, an orange has between 30mg - 80mg vitamin C, depending on its size.

Case in point: let's say the orange in this photo has 60mg vitamin C. 16 of these oranges will give you 1000mg (approx.). And unless you have a serious deficiency, an orange a day should normally meet your daily vitamin C need, especially since you're likely to also get this nutrient from other foods you eat.

So if you're looking for a sure way to up your vitamin C level, commit to an orange a day for the next month & see how your numbers go up.

You have probably heard that eating carrots will make you see in the night. Well, you didn't hear further from the truth.

The nickname for vitamin A is "eye vitamin" because it helps to support your eye health. Carrots are packed with nutrients that help your body make vitamin A, which is probably why you heard that.

So if you are or know someone who is having persistent issues with dry eyes, not seeing well at night or in a dark area, dry skin, it's likely they're having less of this wonderful vitamin than they need.
