APPRECIATION MESSAGE (Resolution of the Ajo Irun of the 8th of December, 2023)

Warm greetings to you all Sons and Daughters of Irun.

On behalf of Myself and Onirun-In-Council , I write to express my heartfelt appreciation to you My good people of Irun-Kingdom, on your unwavering and prompt action in respect of the newly created Irun/Ogbagi Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Project actualisation.

In terms of financial donations and idealogical contributions which have resulted into the actualisation of our community target on the LCDA project, history will never forget you all and posterity will reward you and your children, including in-coming generation of Irun Kingdom.

Of course, with your gesture and magnanimity, you have all demonstrated that united we stand, as God will forever forbid division in our midst.

It is my candid prayer that God Almighty will continue to remain your strength in every aspect of your life. None of you will lack good things, henceforth seasonless success shall be your portion and your entire household and you will never be put in to shame.

May I also at this juncture Congratulate you all on the creation and witnessing of the LCDA , which would bring Government closer to our people than ever before.

I also want to inform you that I am instrumental in bringing all of you together on this platform and I have been keenly monitoring all the activities on the platform most especially your interest, support and contribution towards the unity, progress and development of Irun Kingdom.

I thank God that we have successfully opened Irun Community Development Project Account. Our next action is to set up Irun Community Development Committee which will manage the newly opened account. The Committee will also ensure the progress unity and development of Irun Kingdom. Most of us on this platform will have the opportunity of serving in the Committee/Sub-committees. As a prelude to this, I and Onirun in Council have approved the appointment of Engr. Chief Paul Oguntimehin as Asiwaju of Irun Kingdom and Chairman of Irun Community Development Committee. Also we have appointed Chief Bode Adebiyi as Irun Treasury Manager and Chairman of Finance sub-committee. We have also appointed Chief Dare Adebiyi as the Special Adviser to Onirun of Irun Kingdom ( Bobajiroro) who will be working directly with the King.

Henceforth, Irun Community Development Committee Account will now be managed by Asiwaju of Irun/ Chairman of Irun Community Development Committee and Irun Treasury Manager/Chairman of Finance Sub- Committee under my supervision. This arrangement is in line with some of your comments on this platform on those whom you are comfortable to work with.

I therefore direct the appointed Chairman and the Treasury Manager of Irun Community Development Committee to fast track the selection of the Chairmen of the various Sub-committees to complete the formation of Irun Community Development Committee so that our Community can move forward. I will forward the list of the Sub Committees appropriately.

On a final note, I want to use this opportunity to wish you all Happy Christmas and New year in advance.
