KOLA NUT - Emble of Light;
Many do not know that to present kola nut at our meetings and gatherings is to present LIGHT (Symbol of the Primordial Light of The Creator and His created Universe)
For it is with and by the rites of kola nut that the Light of the Gods and Goddesses is called down on the altar, which is always in the centre, and void of any individual or collective error.
This is why the ancient mystery of the elders in sitting in a circular form (though obscured and forgotten now by many for reasons of time and ignorance) when performing the rite of breaking the kola nut is essential. This we must understand if we be apt and observing students of the mystic Light.
We will always gather around the kola as the one leading the ritual invokes with the kola nut the Light of Lights to manifest amongst us for a reason we can not go into today.
It is with this kola that prayers, invocations, assertions, and decrees are made. With it, Deities and various spirits are appeased at once. Things are erected, and things are cast down. Friendships are consolidated, oaths are administered, covenants are enacted, and yet truces are dissolved.
Note that the Light this kola nut represents is a compound Astral element, containing and conveying all that are consistent with it.....
LIGHT.....
LIFE.....
HARMONY and PEACE....
SUCCESS....
PROSPERITY....
PROTECTION....
In fact, all that the mouth can demand and mandate, that is consistent with all natural and spiritual laws of the Gods and the Land. But you must vocalise those desires for the kola nut listens not to your mind but your mouth, therefore do not hurry when kola is in your hands my Brethren.
But Why The Kola nut?
What makes it special?
Why nut any other fruit?
Here's the mystery......have you ever wondered what keeps the lobes/faces of the kola nut together, i.e., 3face, 4face, 5face, and so on. What power holds them bound? Because when you break it, you won't see what is holding it. The element that holds the faces together is metaphysical. It is that same Astral Light that holds together the entire fabrics of the material universe. This force has both masculine and feminine polarity. Hence, it is capable of governing the laws of our world of opposites. This force in the kola nut is electromagnetic in nature, being both electrically charged and magnetically charged.
So our Elders and Ancestors know that when you hold kola nut in your hand, you are holding a working tool, something more than mere fruit. Something by which you can change things if only you will pay attention.
The most important moment of the rite of the kola nut is when you eventually break it. This should be done with you exhaling sharply positive breath, which you must have held briefly to this point through your mouth, and at the same time releasing all the good thoughts you held inside while praying.
However, this should be done discreetly. It is at this point that the power of that kola nut will project, transmit, or carry your words to the Ether, onward to the Cosmic Planes or Throne of the Immortals. And nature will definitely respond to you.
The second most important moment is the removal of the eyes or the heart of the kola, which is done to the respect of the ancestors of our land and families.
So you see, one goes up, and one goes down for AS ABOVE SO BELOW. The Laws are completed, and our prayers are answered.
The 3rd and last important moment is the eating of the kola, and this is where many mess things up.
1. Some refuse to eat or taste it, for whatever reason.
2. Some eat it carelessly without knowledge of what they are doing.
You should never eat the kola nut for fun, like the uninitiated, it is not food. We need to eat it with discernment, knowing it is first communion with the Gods, ancient spirits, and ancestors. Secondly, it is by it we receive into our spiritual, mental, etheric, and even physical bodies divine energy - that Astral Light....THE CHI according to the orientals. This light brings with it the answers to our prayers, demands, and decrees. And so we need to be conscious of the moment and eat the kola i a receptive state of silence if possible.
Finally, my elders, brothers, and sisters we should not be careless toward the rite of kola nut. When one is praying for you with kola, give him your attention.
You that is praying with kola nut give it your attention, and avoid distractions.
Never reject kola nut when offered to you in good faith, no matter the excuse.
May our Gods and Goddesses continue to open our eyes on these mysteries. May they grant us understanding and keep us from falling. May they continue to bless us with all the good things of life and continue to sustain and expand our noble ideas and organisation now and forever more....Iseeeeeeeee
