The South-West regionals of the WESIE Women's Basketball Championship had seven teams competing last weekend at the Adamasingba Stadium in Ibadan.
The participating teams were; Fortune Basketball Academy (FOBA), Books and Ball, Ajegunle Ravens, Pacers, Mc Spencer Academy, Vision Sports, and Hoop Dreams, who emerged champions on their home court.
The WESIE women's basketball championship which showcases the spirit of competitiveness and resilience of the female athletes aims to inspire, empower, and enable women by providing them with opportunities through sports, specifically basketball.
