THE FAMILY OF ISAAC CELEBRATES 20TH MARRIAGE ANNIVERSARY

At the 20th marriage anniversary of Mr and Mrs Isaac, the couple shared experiences that challenged and held their marriage till present.

Mr. Vincent Isaac gave thanks to God who keeps their marriage lasting. He confirmed that without God the marriage would have been shattered.

He testified, "in the marriage journey, there is to be alot of obstacle but we learn how to forgive each other when we make offences."

Mr. Vincent also said, "Money and beauty do not uphold marriage but the fear of God. When men depend on money it doesn't last and beauty can fade away."

Mrs. Grace Isaac also made specific testimonies concerning the 20th year anniversary.

"At the initial stage of our marriage, my husband insisted that I shouldn't take a job. However, as I thought of this and the disadvantages it could cause on the family finances, I objected and took up a career," she said.

Mrs Grace also advised singles who may wish to marry, "Give your life to Jesus Christ and let God direct you. Then your marriage can be perfected."

One of the Felicitators, Mrs. Rhoda Oluwatoyin Olukola, wishes the celebrants long life and prosperity. She also prays that they will become landlords of different houses and lands as they expand their territory.

Comrade Prince Iche Led a Rally Against the Ban of Commercial Motorcyclists

Comrade Prince Saviour Iche staged a rally on the 1st of September, 2022, at Ijegun, Lagos State. As others were celebrating themselves into the new month, Prince Iche could not but put the rights of motorbikers at heart.

In June, Lagos State Government announced a ban on the operations of commercial motorcyclists, Okada, in some local governments in the state, and further add four local governments to the ban.

The state's commissioner for Transportation, Frederic Oladeinde announced the second phase of the ban during a press briefing on the 18th of August.

"The governor has approved the ban of Okada in another four LGAs and six LCDAs for the second phase of the total ban in addition to the ongoing ban in the six LCDAs," the commissioner said.

This additional ban was to take effect on the 1st of September. However, Comrade Prince Saviour sees this action as a setback for those whose means of livelihood depend on motorcycling.

Some of the inscriptions written on the placards send the messages of the rally.

"Provide job for Okada men before banning," one said.

"We need Okada for quick and easy movement," another said.
