THE BEAUTY OF FORGIVENESS
Forgiveness is a very important event in our Christian journey which may seem difficult to achieve, but it is worthwhile for all who are open to it. It has to do with letting go of the pains, the hurt, the sadness, the anger and all the feelings which come with being offended. Forgive even without counting the cost.
The sad reality is that we often wait to get apologies before we forgive, and because of that, we stay for a long time with unforgiveness in our hearts. The one who offended us may not even be aware, or they must have moved ahead without knowing that the fire of unforgiveness is burning in our hearts.
Make time today to ask God to give you the grace to forgive all who have wronged you in one way or the other. Let go of the grudges and sadness. Take a step to move ahead and always forgive even when there are no apologies. Remember always that "to err is human, and to forgive is divine" and when we forgive others their offences, God will also forgive us (cf. Mt. 6:14).
Anchor Scripture: "Then Peter approaching asked him, “Lord, if my brother sins against me, how often must I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus answered, “I say to you, not seven times but seventy-seven times" (Mt. 18:21-22).

Merciful Jesus, merciful Jesus, merciful Jesus, merciful Jesus
Father, who takes away the sins of the world
Grant them rest, grant them rest
Merciful Jesus, merciful Jesus, merciful Jesus, merciful Jesus

Rest
On this day and throughout the month of November, Catholics all over the world pray for the repose of the souls of all the faithful departed. We pray that they may find rest in God's kingdom. May the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace... Amen🙏.

Archbishop Benson Idahosa: God hears whenever we call on Him from our hearts and is able to answer us, whatsoever our needs may be
The righteous cry out and the Lord hears them, and delivers them from all their troubles (Ps. 34:17)
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears turned to their prayer (1 Pet. 3:12)
When you call me, and come and pray to me, I will listen to you. When you look for me, you will find me. Yes, when you seek me with all your heart (Jer. 29:12-13)
If then my people, upon whom my name has been pronounced, humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their evil ways, I will hear them from heaven and pardon their sins and heal their land. Now, therefore, my eyes shall be open and my ears attentive to the prayer of this place (2 Chr. 7:14-15)

God's love and forgiveness is boundless. We cannot fully comprehend with our human mind the depth of God's love towards His children. He, however, never ceases to show us this love always, even in our weakest moments. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all... Amen

Fishers of men and Zeal for the Lost Sheep of Christ: Late Archbishop G.G Ganaka
An Easter Hallelujah Song by Cassandra and Callahan Star
The miracle of the empty tomb remains relevant in our lives and in our faith, because through it, we are able to reflect more on the life of the One whom the prison bars of death and the grave could not hold captive. He who is light himself went into the dark depths of the grave and He conquered the darkness of the grave. He is the one whom John writes about in his gospel: "In him was life and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it" (Jn. 1:4-5).
He leads us to His light, which is able to dispel every darkness around us, till we ourselves become light. This is why He reminds us that we are the light of the world (cf. Mt. 5:14). Let us, then glory in the Lord's gift of victory which He grants to us through Christ's victory over sin, death and hell. We, like Saint Paul, are to preach not only the crucified Christ, but also the power of His resurrection. Alleluia remains our song because Christ has conquered our fears and worries, and has given us a share in God's kingdom as sons and daughters of God.
Shalom🙌
