We had the privilege of hosting Africa in Abuja Nigeria in 2021, this year the Focus Africa Science, Tech/Innovation and Commodity Expo returns to Abuja. Lotus Bank our dependable partner was recorgnised last night at the Focus Africa 2023 Award night in Casablanca Morocco. This was a VIP event organised for selected diplomats and representative of Governments in Africa.
Ayodunni Salami who received the award on behalf of the MD Kafilat Araoye and the entire bank promised to work with government and the private enterprises to advance projects that will impact positively on the continent.

Last year November we hosted the Focus Africa Expo in Abuja, I was happy with the turn out and businesses that were created for delegates. A Cameroonian company started a fish farm in Bayelsa after that event, another Cameroonian company started supplying Liquid pepper to shops across Nigeria, a Libyan company bought trailers of cashew nuts from Ghana and Ibadan, while another Douala Based company is ordering for yellow maize from Benue State, South Sudan delegates met with Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria and signed an MOU that will see the later set up a sister company is Juba, they later the same day met with the DG of Raw Materials Research Development Council of Nigeria and signed a similar deal. The list of what happend at that expo last year is endless.
An excited CEO of Kalia footwear's Ibrahim Kale Jimoh called me this morning and said he made some huge sales and friends at that November Expo and informed m his already talking with Rector of colleague of Technical science in Kwara state to take a big booth and they have accepted.
This year we are changing the focus to 70% youth led businesses. Here's an opportunity for every young person to put their ideas on African map.
