The story of David is very familiar to every one of us in Scripture but I'm going to bring out a few things about David. The summary of David's life is success against all odds. That is if I say to you this is the life and the story of a man who succeeded against all odds, who became what God wanted him to become against all odds.

Very soon we shall see the odds but who was David?

1- David was a passionate lover of God.

I don’t know how many times, God’s servant and I as a family have emptied everything. For years, we had savings that was done and those savings had a very good assignment. We had probably done fixed deposits, something and paid off school fees; did other things so that the main capital is not touched since we were not Businessmen and all our other givings and all that. When this construction was going on, ‘Pheww’, one account, the other account, accounts all over.
At a point two of the Bank Officers had to call, “please, can you wait till the end of the month so that this amount can enter our monthly record before you withdraw that amount?”. We said no problem, the month is soon ending, it’s okay, let it go. That tells you the volume of what it was…Those amounts we are talking about took a couple of years to grow. In this month of May, we have given that kind of amount, at least almost the same amount in one month.
By December 2019, just before Corona virus came, we did one of those kind of crazy giving and emptied an account to do the whole of this car park, the whole of the car park on this side, on that side. Entering into the New Year, Haahh, then Corona virus started. You are wondering, “where is the income going to come from?” Beloved, we didn’t know there was Corona virus or that there is lock down. That is what God does for a person who is a giver.
We are not talking of giving only in Dunamis. Giving up has been a key secret. I don’t want to count the number of Churches we gave up to for this year and we are still counting. For the past how many years, at least every year, one or more Churches for the Lord.
-God is about to shift somebody higher in the name of Jesus.

Question from Dele Osunmakinde : You are still single.... How do you handle the issue of sisters..... How do you balance that side to be focus to be single...

Answer from Apostle Joshua Selman : I think the issues of Lady and sisters and so on is not limited to whether you are married or not. Is only minimize when you are married...

So, I think the key is values and principles. The key is to be able to put values because I would summit to you many people who may have problems with sisters. The lady do not intentionally come to cause trouble they are just being ladies. And ladies would generally want a shoulder, with all due respect to all the ladies following and the ladies around...
Am not sure, they are few ladies, I think let honour what the Holy Ghost is doing in the body.

They are few ladies that will actually get up intentionally to say I want to destroy, they are people like that but I think what happen is that the devil take advantage of the venerability and the compaction of both the leader and the people involve.....

Values like visitations, counselling. You know ladies you just don't in visit sisters come to my house come and help me cook rice, cook beans. It may not be seen but you are near S***m. The bible say... when Lot left Abraham, he didn't go into S***m, he stayed near S***m. By the time Abraham would come to rescue Lot, he was in the middle of S***m.

So sometimes is important to just have standards and values. I believe when you have value and you are strict on it.... Many people may misunderstand you but eventually.... Is more dangerous today because of the presence of social media. They are all kind of platform that create connection and all of that. And the devil is really out to see how he can discredit ministers and see how he can bring people down through these avenue.

So I think the key is to set very values. For instance let me give 3 or 4 generally. You can have a standard like you will not counsel a single sister alone. For instance or in the night. These are very good principals.
