"I am leaving the church any moment from now" ~ Rev. Fr Obayi Paul explodes

The spiritual director of the Okunerere Adoration Ministry, Nsukka, Rev. Fr (Prof.) Paul Obayi popularly called Fr Okunerere has reeled out accusations against his bishop, the Catholic bishop of Nsukka Diocese, Bishop Godfrey I. Onah. The spiritual priest revealed that the church has been oppressing him. The latest oppression came as the bishop and other fellow priests want to take away his land by force.

Here are some of the things Okunerere said in the about 30 minutes video.

"The church is my vineyard, I love the church, I love my Nsukka (Catholic) church, I love the bishop, I love the priests, I love them, but they are oppressing me.

"I was looking for a land where I will conduct my adoration but couldn't find. I rented a place behind Queens College Nsukka and started my adoration there. Bishop Onah chased me out of the place, saying I was causing noise and distracting the Students of Queens.

"The past governor of Enugu State, Gburugburu gave me this piece of land I'm staying in now. I told the bishop that I have a land and I took him there to see the land. When he came, he then said that the land is fine to be used to build the Marian Shrine. I told him it's my adoration ministry I want to start here and not Marian Shrine. He said I shouldn't talk about it again. It is the same land that the bishop gave out to the church without consulting me, without any discussion.

"I give everything to the church, yet the church wants to strangle me to death. But it can't happen!

"I bought and installed the best transformer in the cathedral of Nsukka Diocese which they're using till today.

"Bishop Onah mandated me to build a museum where I would keep the deities I remove from villages. I spent 2.8m to build the museum upstairs inside the cathedral and reported to my bishop. The only 'thank you' I got from my bishop was that he asked me where did I get the money to build it when he has banned me from selling olive oil. Yet, I endured it.

"At Obimo, I got a land to build my adoration ministry. It's a mountain. I spent more than 50m to level the place and create roads, then built a 30 room self con house there. The church collected it from me and I surrendered it. Kidnappers are using that building today to keep their victims because the church isn't using it till today after collecting it from me. Bishop Onah said he wants to use the place as Nsukka Diocesan Pilgrimage Centre.

"I was posted to Obollo where I spent 10 million to build a church. Bishop Onah came to dedicate it and on the day of the dedication, everybody present was acknowledged but they refused to acknowledge me, Fr Obayi who built the church. Just after 2 months of dedicating the church, the bishop transfered me to Ikem, where everybody knows that the roads there are filled with kidnappers.

"I was an associate professor but no one in the Diocese ever announced me as associate professor, but those priests who became associate professors yesterday are recognized by the Diocese but I was ignored till today.

"It got to the point that fellow priests broke my gate just to take my land, they said they were sent.

"On bishop Onah's Episcopal ordination, I supplied drinking water free to everybody in attendance.
"The oppression is too much. Priests are avoiding coming to my adoration because if they see any priest in my adoration, during posting, they will post the priest in a far away village beyond Adani in Uzo Uwani LGA.

"I have been inviting the bishop to my adoration but he refused coming, saying he doesn't understand what we are doing here.

"If Charismatic draft a programme and include my name as a guest priest, when they take it to the Diocese for approval, the authorities will tear the programme on seeing my name there. They would ask the Charismatic why should they invite Fr Okunerere. For 10 years now, I have not attended any charismatic programme because the church authorities won't permit me.

"Bishop Onah stopped me from going to London to preach, saying that I would go there to preach heresy. I asked him, before you became my bishop, I had attended 10 different programmes in London where I preached. Is it now you're my bishop that I will preach heresy?

"The church refused to give me land for my adoration, and the one given to me by the government, the church wants to collect it from me.

"Since the church doesn't want me again, I am leaving the Catholic church any moment from now. I can't kill myself".

Tonto Dikeh happiness is childish.

Her posts over her ex boyfriend house demolition is a clear indication that she is heartless.

Honestly there is no justification for Tonto happiness over the demolition of her ex boyfriend Kpokpogri house in abuja.

I understand they have issues before now based on their breakup but what ever caused their breakup shouldn’t be the reasons for her happiness over her ex boyfriend house demolition.

Tonto might be seeing her ex boyfriend as enemy but the Bible made it clear to us that we should never rejoice over the pains of our enemies.

The same Bible also said we should forgive those who offend us if we must make heaven.

As at now, none of us know the reasons behind the house demolition by the Federal Capital Territory.

What is bad is bad.

Tonto happiness is condemnable.

the late actress’s colleague, Joseph Okechukwu announced the sad news on his social media on Wednesday, July 12th.

According to the filmmaker, he was about to pay for Cynthia Okereke’s flight ticket to come to America but sadly, she died on Tuesday night.

Cynthia Okereke’s death is coming 12 months after suffering in kidnappers den.

Sharing her photo, Joseph wrote: “REST IN PEACE, Nwanyi oma. I’m shattered beyond words. The fact that I was about to pay for your flight ticket to come finish what we started only to here you went to be with Lord just last night is one of the toughest things I’ve ever had to deal with in recent times. I pray I’m able to recover from this shock. Life is really just a mist. One minute you have it, the next you don’t.

“For the more than 20 years that I’ve known you, you’ve been such an amazing, decent and lovely soul to be around. I never imagined you’d exit so unceremoniously. Words fail me.

“Sleep on, Cynthia. May your gentle soul rest on till we meet again in glory.”

Obioma Somtochi Ugorji, an Igbo boy of 22 years old becomes the best graduating student of Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, California, USA for 2023.

Note that he has no English name or any foreign name.

He is the valedictorian of the university for 2023.

Valedictorian means the student with the highest grade in a graduating set who gives the farewell speech at graduation ceremonies.

He started his speech with the phrase "Igbo Kwenu".

He eulogized/praised the Igbos throughout his speech.

Just In: Nollywood actor, Saint Obi, reportedly passes on after a brief illness Obinna Nwafor, better known by his stage name Saint Obi, has passed away.

It is reported that the incident occurred on Monday, May 7, 2023. He reportedly passed away after spending several months travelling to the hospital for treatment of an unspecified illness.

According to blogger Moji Delano, a source disclosed that the actor, who he had seen a couple of times and recognized as Saint Obi, had di£d on Sunday and that the following day, his body was taken to the morgue at JUTH.
This was after a visit his sister’s residence in Jos. Saint Obi is said to have recently relocated to his sister’s home in Jos, the capital of the Plateau State, and has frequently been spotted being transported to the hospital.
The fact that Mr. Obi was frequently spotted in the hospital was also confirmed by a source at JUTH. The Imo-born thespian before his demise had featured in over 100 movies.

Igbo woman gives birth to quintuplets at Life Hospital, Awka, the capital of Anambra State.

Pictured below is Chidimma Nwannibe, a native of Akamili Umudim in Nnewi whose husband was given as simply Amaechi from Oraifite in the same Anambra state by our sources. The couple have just welcomed five babies in one go (quintuplet) after nine years of trying.

However, Friends and relatives of both Chidimma and Amaechi have since taken to social media to announce the miracle birth and also congratulate the couple.

Congratulations to the new parents.

Nollywood Actor Yul Edochie reportedly loses first son kambilichukwu Edochie.

It was gathered that yul's first son was rushed to the hospital after falling unconscious.
May's sister who was at the scene said the boy read throughout the night preparing for his exam today. After his exam in school, he joined his mates to play football & that's when he developed a seizure and was rushed to mother and child Hospital. All efforts by the doctors to resuscitate him proved abortive.

ASSET vs Liability

Son: Dad, may I speak with you?
Dad: Go ahead.
Son: Among all my classmates, I am the only one without a car. It is embarrassing.
Dad: What do you want me to do?
Son: I need a car. I don't want to feel odd.
Dad: Do you have a particular car in mind?
Son: Yes dad (smiling)
Dad: How much?
Son:$2000
Dad: I will give you the money on one condition.
Son: What is the condition?
Dad: You will not use the money to buy a car but invest it. If you make enough profit from the investment, you can go ahead and buy the car.
Son: Deal.

Then, the father gave him a cheque of $2000. The son cashed the cheque and invested it in obedience to the verbal agreement that he had with his father.

Some months later, the father asked the son how he was faring. The son responded that his business was improving. The father left him.

After some months again, the father asked him about his business
again and the son told him that he is making a lot of profit from the business.

When it was exactly a year after he gave him the money, the father asked him to show him how far the business has gone. The son readily agreed and the following discussion took place:

Dad: From this I can see that you have made a lot of money.
Son: _Yes dad. _
Dad: Do you still remember our agreement?
Son: Yes
Dad: What is it?
Son: We agreed that I should invest the money and buy the car from the profit.
Dad: Why have you not bought the car?
Son: I don't need the car again. I want to invest more.
Dad: Good. You have learnt the lessons that I wanted to teach you.
- You didn't really need the car, you just wanted to feel among. That would have placed extra financial obligations on you. It wasn't an asset then; but a liability.
- Two, it is very important for you to invest in your future before living like a king.
Son: Thanks dad.

Then the father gave him the keys of the latest model of that car.

MORALS:
1. Always invest first before you start living the way you want.

2. What you see as a need now may become a want if you can take a little time to get over your feelings.

3. Try to be able to distinguish between an asset and a liability so that what you see as an asset today will not become a liability to you tomorrow.
