📌 What type of phone do I need for Digital Skills?

I get asked this a lot, so I'll try to answer it now.

I've not used an iPhone, but "I think" if you are starting off with a "phone compatible" Digital Skill that can earn you money,

You don't need an iphone. There are so many reasons which I won't go into.

What you need is an Android OS.

To effectively perform tasks such as

- Video editing on Capcut,
- Graphic design on Canva,
- Document & Word related jobs on WPS, and
- Social media management on buffer,
- Organise teams or Manage projects on Slack

It's very important to have a smartphone with capable hardware and software specifications.

Lets look at the most important ones.

📌1. Processor: Look for a smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 series or higher.

A fast processor will ensure smooth performance while running resource-intensive apps like video editing software.

📌2. RAM: You need a minimum of 4GB RAM. Nothing less. Sufficient RAM allows for smooth multitasking and prevents your device from hanging or slowing down when running multiple apps simultaneously.

📌3. Storage: Get a smartphone with a minimum of 64GB storage. You'll need space to breeef. Don't suffocate that small phone.

📌4. Display: Aim at Full HD (1080p) or higher. A good display will provide a clear and detailed view of your work, making it easier to edit and design accurately.
