PERFECTION OR SELF-AWARENESS?
Hello, beautiful one... I trust you're having a good day... if not, here's a tip for you; "there's always peace and safety on the other side of turbulence."
Today, I'd like to ask, would you choose perfection over seeking to understand your thoughts, feelings, and the motives behind your actions?
Everyone strives to be seen as better and show up better in the world. But I love the fact that even as the word perfection exists, we all "strve" for perfection. Our souls can be excellent but it does take surrender and persistence to get our souls to align with God's will. It's like some Herculean task... requiring a few falls and getting back up again, some nights of disappointment, some good days, and some bad days. But the beautiful part is, a seed is sown. God sees our desire and the huge leaps of faith we take to make our souls right.
So what can we say now? In my heart of hearts, I do believe self-awareness creates a path for the soul to be worked on... and soul here is the centre of your thoughts, your will, and emotions. Yeah.. a significant part of our being that if not controlled, strongly influences our lives and our dear relationships.
When you see the area you need change in, you'll strive to get better... and even more beautiful, you will get better as you take the steps required.
What are the little steps you can take today to become a better person for God, you, and others?
Perhaps you need to quit lying, control your emotions, adopt habits like reading God's Word, smiling more... or like me, managing my time (and taking more water to feel hydrated and less fatigued so I can get more work done) 😂
