TOPIC: FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS

BIBLE TEXT: ESTHER 4:10-14

LESSON INTRODUCTION: In this time in which we are (presently), a lot of demonic activities are in operation and children of God are dropping their guards. Every believer should know that they are in a particular position to effect divine plans and establish reigns for Christ.

LESSON OUTLINE ONE
UNDERSTANDING THE TIME
Let's look at the time we are in:
a. Perilous time - II Timothy 3: 1.
b. Time, full of hatred, self-centeredness - Gen. 27:41:37:18-20.
c. Time of ingratitude - Judges 15: 18-19.
d. Time of pains, affliction and abandonment. Num. 14:43; Deut. 32:15.
e. Time of worshipping of Mammon. Matt. 6:24: Luke 16:11.
f. Time of laziness, less work but anticipating more gains, e.g. Yahoo boys.

WHAT ARE THE TOOLS REQUIRED TO UNDERSTAND AND WIN IN THIS TIME?
i. The Word of God - Psalms 1 19:105.
ii. The hearing ear and seeing eye - Proverbs 20:12
iii. Living in holiness - I Peter 1:15-16.
iv. Following peace with people - Hebrews 12:14.
v. Grieving not the Holy Spirit- Ephesians 4:30.

LESSON OUTLINE TWO
MAKING THE BEST USE OF THE TIME
To make best use of time means investing in your time positively, engaging in activities that provide a high fulfilment to someone and others around you.
1 Develop your mental capacity and inner virtue.
2 Keep a time diary to access your daily time usage.
3 Cut off activities that make your time unyielding and unfulfilling.
4 Think positively on what matters and on things that are profitable.
5 Know that there is time for everything and time used positively brings gain.

BIBLICAL EXAMPLES OF THOSE WHO UTILISED THEIR TIME WELL
1. Esther rescued the Jews from Haman's plot - Esther 7:10.
2. Moses delivered Israelites
3. Elisha destroyed the curse that caged a nation for years - Judges 6:26, II Kings 2:22
4. David deployed his ability to win and stop humiliation of 40 days -I Sam. 17:16.
5. Jesus came to save the whole world- Matt. 18:11; Luke 19:10.

CONCLUSION: "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:" Eccl. 3:1. Therefore every creature needs to maximise the portion of time given to them to bring fruitful results Ecclesiastes 3:1-8.

The First and crucial step in silencing worries is to be "POSITIVELY DELUSIONAL"

Yes, I said "POSITIVELY DELUSIONAL"
Religion calls it "Faith" while Society calls it "Positive Thinking" but it is still the same thing. It is Good Delusion.

Reality would most likely not look good or pleasing, that is why it is essential you build your inner world to envision your pleasant desires.

The most important advantage of being positively delusional is that once worry is out of the way, it gives you the insight to come up with solutions or directions to achieving the delusion.

For example, it is the positive delusion I had that made me approach a Uk organization (which didnt even advertise a Job vacancy) and got my first remote Job.

It also got me to the Interview stage of a Big Uk company that I was more than certain that I wasnt even qualified to get an email from but made it to their shortlist stage (Unfortunately, I didnt get the Job tho) .

Positive Delusion works wonders!!
