I've seen many students write in their bio or any form of introduction to be student as their
occupation.
First, what is an occupation?

****Occupation is the principal activity in your life, that you do to earn money.
Definition problem is settled✔
Now, what stage should you add occupation to your data?

The stage at which you earn money from something.
It may be business, skill or white collar jobs.

That one also is being solved✔

Now, back to my point.

When adding occupation to your bio or in an introductory write up, you mean to tell us what you are currently doing to make money.

Being a student, we don't know your discipline, you don't have a certificate yet, you are still
learning, not yet graduated.

Also, many students have what they earn from e.g
Make-up Artistry, Photography, Graphics designing, Stand up comedy, Fashion designer, Selling
of things, etc..

Like, if you are a student, not yet earning, except for your pocket money, occupation shouldn't be in your bio.

You can just add, I am Daniel Ifeanyi, a student at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, currently

DO I NEED A LAPTOP?

A lot of the time, many people ask me if they need a laptop to start making money online.

My response is always the same.

You definitely don’t need a laptop to start making money on the internet.

Of course, you’ll want to get a laptop eventually, when you’ve made some cool money.

A laptop is added advantage if you own a website or a blog.

A cheap android phone will do the basic stuff for you.

A few days ago, I was listening to some training videos by Derek Doekper and Steve Olsher and they mentioned something I found profound but true.

When dealing with challenges in our lives and we feel like giving up, if the goal to succeed is all about us, there is usually the tendency to give up.

However, when the goal is beyond ourselves, when the desire to complete the race is about
helping others, enabling them to benefit from our triumph, we usually succeed.

I know it is true because for many years, I worked from my comfort zone. I have a lot of
knowledge on several areas but was not getting the level of results I wanted.
Why? I didn’t implement the knowledge gained.

I was being lazy. Too lazy to do the work required.

I procrastinated on taking action.
However, when it seemed like I was not getting the results I wanted, I changed.

Change didn’t really come easy. I almost gave up several times.
However, when I looked beyond myself and became determined to succeed so that I could help other people in similar situations overcome their challenges, I started getting improved results.

I was more determined to stay on course.

Here is a quote from Derek Doekper.
“…Maybe I am going through this so I can learn how I got myself stuck and how I can get
myself out in order to help others. It was the desire to teach, the desire to serve, the desire to share lessons with other people that actually helped me get through my own BS or stuff that I had to work through.

blogs, what they are used for and why they are important to your

What is a blog

A blog is essentially like a journal where people can post their
thoughts and have them read and commented on by anyone.

A blogger is someone who creates a blog and posts on it.

Brief history of blogs

Weblogs, simply known as blogs now, haven’t been around for that
long. The roots of the blog can be traced back to 1994 when
people kept online journals (diaries) in which they wrote about
things in their life.

Our current blog has been around for an even shorter period of
time. In 1998, Open Diary created a site in which its users
could post blogs that had the ability to be commented on by

The popular free blogging site called Blogger was created in
1999 by Evan Williams and Meg Hourihan. Blogger was later
purchased by Google in 2003.

Despite the fact that blog sites have been in existence since
1998, they have only been popular for 5 or 6 years. In 2001,
how-to-blog manuals were published and the phenomenon has only
taken off since that point.

What are blogs used for?

In the very beginning, blogs were usually used to talk about a
person’s life. People would make blog posts about things
happening in their life, thus using the blog as a public
journal.

Over time, the use of the blog evolved. People began using the
blog to post their opinions about everything from politics to
religion to sports to music, among other things.

Nowadays, blogs are even used to make money—one 20-year-old
makes $5,000 from Google per month because he has Google Ads on
his blog. Businesses have also begun to effectively use blogs
for their own purposes.

Why are blogs important to your online business?

Millions of people from all over the world read blogs every day.
Those who have a blog are given a lot of exposure—there is the
potential for them to have millions of unique readers each day.

Can you imagine having a million people see your business’ name
each day? That sounds pretty incredible, doesn’t it? Yet, that’s
