What is Oral Candidiasis?
Oral candidiasis, also known as oral thrush, is a fungal infection in the mouth caused by an overgrowth of Candida species, most commonly Candida albicans. This fungus is normally present in the mouth in small amounts, but it can multiply and cause infection when the balance of microorganisms is disturbed.

Conjunctivitis (Apollo or Pink Eye)

Conjunctivitis, commonly known as "Apollo" or "pink eye", is an inflammation or infection of the conjunctiva — the thin, clear tissue that lines the inside of the eyelid and covers the white part of the eye.

Causes of Conjunctivitis

1. Viruses – the most common cause. It’s very contagious and often spreads during outbreaks.

2. Bacteria – can cause a more serious form with yellow or green discharge.

3. Allergies – from dust, pollen, smoke, or perfumes. This type is not contagious.

4. Irritants – such as chlorine in swimming pools or exposure to smoke and chemicals.

A boil is a painful, red, swollen bump that appears on the skin. It’s caused by a bacterial infection, usually Staphylococcus aureus, that starts in a hair follicle or oil gland. Over time, the bump fills with pus and becomes more painful.

Elephantiasis is a disease that causes severe swelling in parts of the body, usually the legs, arms, ge****ls, or breasts. It is most commonly caused by a parasitic infection known as lymphatic filariasis.

Elephantiasis is usually caused by microscopic worms (parasitic roundworms) such as: Wuchereria bancrofti (most common), Brugia malayi and Brugia timori

These parasites are spread by mosquitoes, and when they enter the body, they live in the lymphatic system, which helps drain fluids and fight infections. Over time, the worms block the flow of lymph fluid, leading to swelling, thickening, and hardening of the skin and tissue.

A Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) is an infection that affects any part of the urinary system, including the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra. Most infections involve the lower urinary tract — the bladder and the urethra.

UTIs are mainly caused by bacteria, especially Escherichia coli (E. coli), which normally live in the intestines but can enter the urinary tract through the urethra. Other possible causes include:

1. Poor hygiene practices
2. Sexual activity
3. Use of dirty public toilets
4. Holding urine for too long
5. Catheter use
6. A weakened immune system
7. Certain health conditions like diabetes

Ge***al warts are a common s*xually transmitted infection (STI) caused by certain strains of the human papillomavirus (HPV), especially types 6 and 11. These warts affect the moist tissues of the ge***al and a**l areas and are typically spread through s*xual contact.

Ge***al warts are caused by HPV, which is transmitted through Vaginal, a**l, or oral s*x with an infected person. Skin-to-skin contact in the ge***al area. Many people with HPV do not show symptoms but can still transmit the virus.

So SAY NO TO OPUEH today! Or you collect ge***al warts

Athlete's foot (medical name: tinea pedis) is a fungal skin infection that affects the feet, especially the spaces between the toes. It is caused by dermatophyte fungi, the same group of fungi responsible for ringworm and jock itch.

Get ready guys, we gonna be posting videos on them soon.

Ringworm: A Common Fungal Infection of the Skin

Ringworm, despite its name, is not caused by a worm but by a type of fungus known as dermatophyte. It is a contagious skin infection that affects humans and animals. The infection gets its name from the ring-shaped, red, and scaly rash it often produces on the skin.

Warts are small, rough, non-cancerous growths that appear on the skin. They are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), which enters the body through tiny cuts or breaks in the skin. Warts are common and usually harmless, although they can be annoying, contagious, and sometimes painful.

CAUSES OF WARTS

Warts are caused by infection with certain types of HPV. The virus triggers rapid growth of skin cells, forming a wart. Warts are more likely to develop in people with weakened immune systems or those who have frequent contact with the virus (such as walking barefoot in public showers).

Ge***al Herpes is a s*xually transmitted infection (STI) caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV). There are two types:

HSV-1: Commonly causes cold sores but can also cause ge***al herpes through oral-ge***al contact.

HSV-2: Mainly causes ge***al herpes and is spread through s*xual contact.

Ge***al herpes is transmitted through:

Vaginal, a**l, or oral s*x with an infected person
Skin-to-skin contact with infected areas, even when sores are not present and from a mother to her baby during childbirth (rare but serious)

Symptoms can vary or be absent, especially in the early stages. When they do occur, they may include:

1. Painful blisters or sores on the ge****ls, a**s, thighs, or buttocks
2. Burning or itching in the ge***al area
3. Pain during urination
3. Flu-like symptoms such as fever and swollen lymph nodes (especially during the first outbreak)

Some people may not know they are infected because the virus can lie dormant and cause no symptoms.

PREVENTION
1. Use condoms or dental dams during s*x (though not 100% effective)

2. Avoid s*xual contact during outbreaks

3. Take daily antiviral medication if recommended

4. Get tested regularly and encourage partners to do the same.

Orange peels, often discarded as waste, are actually rich in bioactive compounds with significant antibacterial properties. These properties make them valuable in natural medicine, food preservation, and even cosmetic products.

Orange peels contain various phytochemicals that contribute to their antimicrobial activity, such as:

1. Flavonoids (e.g., hesperidin, naringin)
2. Essential oils (e.g., limonene, linalool, and citral)
3. Phenolic acids (e.g., caffeic and ferulic acids)
4. Tannins and alkaloids.

These compounds have been shown to inhibit the growth of several bacteria, especially gram-positive strains like Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus subtilis, and some gram-negative bacteria like Escherichia coli and Salmonella spp.

The picture below is simply Vaginal discharge associated with yeast infection, called va**nal candiasis. Vaginal candidiasis is a common fungal infection of the va**na caused by an overgrowth of Candida, a yeast that normally lives in the va**na in small amounts.
Most often caused by Candida albicans.

It becomes a problem when it grows out of control, usually due to overuse of antibiotics, Pregnancy, Diabetes (especially if poorly controlled), Weak immune system, Hormonal changes (e.g., birth control pills), and Wearing tight or damp underwear.

Symptoms include; Intense itching in the va**na or v***a, Thick, white discharge (often described as “cottage cheese-like”), Redness and swelling of the v***a, Burning feeling, especially during urination or s*x and Soreness or irritation.

It can be treated with Klovinal and please avoid Opueh when treating candiasis.

Thank you.
