A LITTLE BREAK DOWN OF WHERE WE ARE NOW AND WHERE WE ARE HEADING TO.

1. Mainnet in few weeks according to homescreen.

2. Mainnet can come before mass KYC or both together.

3. KYCed pioneers will serve as human verifiers by choice.

3b. KYC may have a limited time.

4. Create your wallet and keep your passphrase safe.
Core Team can't help you retrieve your account.

4b. Reset your wallet address if you have forgotten passphrase.Do this before you do KYC. Remember, losing your passphrase is same as losing all your Pi.

5. Your transferable balances will be moved to your wallet after KYC.

6. Mining will continue after mainnet.

6b. Mining may be halved. The current base mining rate may be halved.

7. Your degree of locked up balance (Numbers of mining session, number of years and percentage of Pi to be locked) will determine your mining speed after mainnet. Earning team MAY not matter Much.

8. All referrals and security teams must pass their KYC to earn you bonuses for their contributions. This is done to burn Pi earned from fake accounts because fake accounts can not pass KYC. It is assumed that those who won't come for KYC are fake/bot accounts.

9. The Core Team may allow inheritance of a deceased pioneer by their families much later.

10. Only one verification is enough (phone number, facebook or email). I recommend facebook and any other because facebook helps you return back to the app even though you forgot your password, reinstalled your app or lost your mobile phone. Just install the app and click on facebook. Therefore, keep your facebook account safe from hackers/scammers/banning.

11. Core Team won't list pi in any exchanges. Exchanges will choose to list Pi when they want.

Nicolas Update: today

We are doing a lot of image processing with computer algorithms in addition to human validations.
There is a machine learning process called Optical Character Recognition (OCR).
Using OCR techniques, our software mostly already knows what is written on the ID.

Humans are then called in to provide additional security to catch any corner cases that an algorithm might miss. My general assessment is that the combination of humans and artificial intelligence.

He just had to add the ID number, ID type, address, city, state, country
No liveness test, nothing.

Mainnet Transfer Essentials
Please follow these steps to prepare for the transfer of your Pi Mobile Balance to the Mainnet

Download Pi Browser App
Download the Pi Browser App from the iOS App Store/Google Play Store. There, you can create a non-custodial Pi Wallet, verify KYC and access other Pi apps. The Pi Browser is essential to complete multiple steps of the Mainnet transfer.

Create a Pi Wallet
The Pi Wallet is where you receive and store your Pi on the Pi Blockchain. Find the wallet app in the Pi Browser.

Confirm your Pi Wallet
Confirm the onwership of your wallet.

Commit to lockup configuration
You can voluntarily commit to lock up a portion of your Transferable Balance for a boosted mining rate, effective March 14, 2022. The lockup configuration is binding upon commitment, so the amount and duration of the lockup cannot be changed before your first Mainnet transfer.

Note: Pioneers must commit to a lockup setting to be eligible for Mainnet Migration, even if they decide not to lock up any Pi.
