A TRICYCLE (KEKE) DRIVER KILLED BY ANGRY MOB IN BAYELSA STATE.
It was read that the driver killed his passenger over a N50 argument and the angry youths got angry and then mobbed the driver and killed him as well.
Several Kekeâs were on fire on Wednesday evening at the Kpansia area in Yenagoa Local Government area in Bayelsa State over an alleged killing of an Epie indigene.
The Aboki driver allegedly st.ab.be.d his passenger to dea.th at saptex junction because of an argument between them as regards to change.
In resent times in Ondo state, angry mob stoned a 35 year old man to death after he crashed his car leading to the death of 2 and injuring several.

13 Year-old American Boy Dead After Trying Deadly Tiktok âbenadryl Challengeâ
An Ohio teen tragically perished after overdosing on over-the-counter medication while attempting a viral TikTok stunt.
The 13-year-old victim, Jacob Stevens, had been partaking in the âBenadryl Challenge,â a dangerous pursuit in which participants take 12 to 14 of the antihistamines â six times the recommended dose â in order to induce hallucinations.
The potentially deadly stunt started blowing up in 2020 as teens uploaded their attempts on TikTok in order to gain social media clout.
Jacobâs father, Justin, told ABC 6 that his son was at home last weekend with friends when he overdosed.
Footage taken by his pals showed the Columbus resident downing the pills, after which his body reportedly started to seize up.
âIt was too much for his body,â the teenâs devastated father said.
Jacob was subsequently rushed to the hospital and put on a ventilator.
Despite medicsâ best efforts, the boy perished six days later on what his father described as the âworst day of his life.â
Justin described hearing the devastating news that his son wouldnât wake up.
âNo brain scan, there was nothing there,â the bereaved dad said. âThey said we could keep him on the vent, that he could lay there â but he will never open his eyes, heâll never breathe, smile, walk or talk.â
The boyâs grandmother, Dianna Stevens, fought through tears to tell their local TV news outlet: âIâm going to do anything I can to make sure another child doesnât go through it.â
Meanwhile, Jacob is remembered by his family as a well-mannered, funny, loving kid.
âIt didnât matter how bad of a day I was having, no one could make me smile, Jacob could make me smile,â an emotional Justin recalled.
In light of his sonâs tragic death, the devastated Ohioan is also warning parents about the dangers of teens using social media unsupervised.
âKeep an eye at what theyâre doing on that phone,â he said.
âTalk to them about the situation. I want everyone to know about my son.â

PHOTOS: Police Dismiss Three Officers For Firing Into Air In Kano
The Nigeria Police Force has dismissed three police officers caught in a viral video firing into the air in Kano State.
The Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, disclosed this via his Twitter handle on Thursday.
In a viral video, the police officers attached to a popular Kano singer, Dauda Kahutu Rarara, are seen firing into the air with their pistols and AK-47 while es**rting the singer into his car at a ceremony.
Adejobi shared the photos of the officers and wrote, âDiscipline: 3 policemen dismissed for disciplinary offences. Subsequent to complaints and findings on video evidence widely circulated on Friday 7th April, 2023, on social media of high-handedness, unprofessional conduct, and misuse of fi****ms against some policemen from Special Protection Unit (SPU) Base 1, Kano, and a follow-up orderly room trial of the affected policemen by the Force Provost Marshal, three officers from the SPU Base 1 Kano have been dismissed for the offences of discreditable conduct to wit misuse of fi****ms, abuse of power, gross indiscipline, and wastage of live ammunition.
â The trio, Inspr. Dahiru Shuaibu, Sgt. Abdullahi Badamasi, and Sgt. Isah Danladi, were attached to a musician in Kano on es**rt duties. In the course of their duty on Friday 7th April, 2023 at Kahutu Village, Katsina State, the officers repeatedly fired shots from their official fi****ms into the air despite police policy against firing in the air, standard operating procedure and relevant Force Orders; and disregarding the possible risk to the crowd at the location which included children. The act was not only criminal and unprofessional but also embarrassing to the Force and the nation at large.

RIP FORMER SUPER EAGLE PLAYER
Former Super Eagles midfielder, Emmanuel Ebiede, has died after suffering Hepatomegaly (enlargement of the liver), according to reports.
Ebiede passed on Friday in Port Harcourt at the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital.
He was a member of the Flying Eagles squad at the African Youth Championship in 1995.
United Kingdom-based football administrator, David Doherty confirmed the death of the former SC Heerenveen player.

Ibadan popular vendor, Adeshina Olayinka popularly known as khadi is dead. she was found dead in a wetland hotel in akobo Oyo state.

According to the news, Adeshina Olayinka tells her friend that she want to go and meet with someone in wetland hotel in Akobo on wednesday night, on thursday the man want to log out of hotel early morning and when he got to reception, the receptionist had to put call to Olayinka to confirm her safety and she pick up the call and give permission that they should allow the man, that she is just resting and no cause for alarm, soon she will log out too. Later, one of the receptionist who borrow Olayinka power bank went to the room for her power bank and knock the door but no one respond then the hotel manager come with extra card to open the door and they saw her dead.
According to source, it seem she is been used for ritual.

The body of a missing 15-year-old girl, Karabo Monyama, was buried in a shallow grave in the backyard of her 23-year-old boyfriend's home in South Africa.
Police spokesperson Lt-Col Amanda Funani, who confirmed the development in a statement, said Monyama's body was discovered on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.
Funani said the victim's boyfriend has been arrested and charged with murdÂŁr, perjury and defeating the ends of justice.
According to the spokesperson, the teenager from Cyferskuil, close to Makapanstad, North West province, was last seen at lunchtime on Sunday March 5, when she left home to watch soccer at a nearby field. She never returned home.
âCyferskuil police arrested a suspect after the body of missing teenager was found yesterday, 08 March 2023. The body of 15-year-old Karabo Monyama was discovered, buried in a shallow grave in the backyard of her 23-year-old boyfriend. The boyfriend was arrested on the same day, and he was charged for cases of murder, perjury and defeating the ends of justice. He is expected to appear in the Moretele Magistratesâ Court on Friday, 10 March 2023.â the statement read.

Diamond Miracle (2 years old) was stolen from Ekete, Udu on Thursday 9th February, 2023. If this child is not found, the widowed mother might lose her own life as everything now depends on her children after she lost her husband and father of her children.
The 25 years old girl who carried Miracle to a Nanny has confessed that Miracle was sold for 500k to a woman who came from Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The Police in Ovwian Aladja led by the DPO CSP Shaba had been doing a lot in assisting us with investigations and we urge him to do more, as tracking the woman who bought the baby would be highly appreciated.
We gathered that 50k was paid to the neighbour who stole the child and another 50k was paid to the lady who handled the child to the Port Harcourt woman. These monies were seen in their accounts as they confessed to the crime.
Speaking with the DPO this evening has arouse our hopes that Miracle would be rescued alive from the hands of rÂĄtualists going around stealing and buying children this electioneering period.

The So called Npower Batch C Stream II

If there is any Npower category that suffered the extreme and got ill treated the most, that should be the Batch C Stream II. The Batch C category applied for the empowerment in 2020 and stream l was boarded in 2021 and unboarded in August, 2022 after a year of service. Batch C Stream II volunteers who underwent biometric data and physical screenings are still suffocating without knowing their fate.
Imagine applying for Npower since 2020 and receiving nothing up till this moment. Imagine applying for a programme that is aimed at alleviating poverty but ends of rendering you poorer. The current Batch C Stream II volunteers are, indeed, undergoing the worst moment of their lives. These are the children of the poor. The expended the little they have for transportation and feeding at their Places of Primary Assignments. Some of them are even flooded by debt, hunger, anger and depression.
What did they do to deserve this punishment?
The disturbing fact is that whenever these volunteers seek to know about their payments via Npower social handles, the heartless Npower staff give childish, lugubrious and unwarranted cliches such as " You will be paid soon, sooner, soonest, in no distance time, preparations are in top gear" among others. The question is, what type of 'soonest' that is not sooning for five months? when did Npower start teaching regular adjectives and adverbs? Are these beneficiaries' stipend diverted? Are we serious in this country?
On the other hand, the most painful part is that the Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development Minister Sadiya Farouq, recently said that N890.7 billion was spent on N-power with N246 billion on CCT, N17.6 billion on GEEP, N2.7 million on IM, while school feeding programme gulped N200.9 billion.
Farouq said this when she featured on the 23rd edition of the President Muhammadu Buhari (PMB) Administration scorecard series organised by the Inf.

PHOTOS: Bauchi School With 1500 Students Has No Furniture, Toilet
A school in Bauchi State, the Yakubu Bauchi College of Islamic Studies with over 1500 students has no furniture or a functional toilet.
These facts were brought to light by TrackaNG, a non-government organisation that enables citizens to collaborate and track capital projects in their community, on Tuesday.
The NGO shared photos of the dilapidated school facilities on its social media page and called on the Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed, to renovate the school located in the Toro Local Government Area of the state.
TrackaNG said, âAll the classrooms structures have been damaged except one. In 2021, the school received N20m from the government for innovation and they only renovated one block of two classrooms without providing furniture.
âThe school has over 1500 students and there are no available furniture or teaching materials. There is also no functional toilet in the facility. , kindly renovate and equip Yakubu Bauchi College of Islamic Studies.â

MAN KILLS HIS PARENTS WITH A PESTLE IN JIGAWA

A 37-year-old man, Munkaila Adamu got arrested for the murder of his biological parents in Gagarawa Local Government Area of Jigawa State.
According to spokesperson of the Stateâs Police Command, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, who confirmed the case in a statement, the incident occurred on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Unguwar Malamai Quarters in Gagarawa town.
Shiisu shared that the suspect used a wooden pestle and attacked both his father, Ahmad Muhammad and mother, Hauwa Ahmadu,60, in their room.
Muhammad, 70, is reported to be the village head of the community. The police spokesperson further revealed that Munkaila also injured two other persons in the community. The injured have been identified as Kailu Badugu, 65, and Hakalima Ahmadu, 50 and are being treated in the hospital.
While the reason for his actions is yet to be ascertained, the police say they have taken the suspect into custody and commenced an investigation.
Adam said they conveyed the deceased to General Hospital Gumel where they were certified dead. âSuspect was arrested and the exhibit was recovered.â the PPRO added.
Meanwhile, Commissioner of Police, Jigawa State Police Command, CP Aliyu Sale Tafida, has directed that the case should be transfer to SCIID Dutse immediately for discreet investigation and possible prosecution of the culprit.

Father arrested for alleged kidnap, killing of 15-yr-old daughter in Kogi State for ritual purpose.
A staff of the Federal Polytechnic, Idah, in the department of Works and Fire Services unit, Dauda Ibrahim, has been apprehended for kidpping and killing of his fifteen-year-old daughter, Sherifah for ritual purpose in Kogi State.
According to reports, the suspect is alleged to have perpetrated the nefarious act, alongside two other people, Adams Isah Atumeyi and Adah Yusufu King.
A source told Daily Post that the deceased, the victim, Sherifah was kidnapped on August 4, 2022, at their residence in Okenya, along Itayi street, in the Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area of the State.
The source added that the girlâs remains were discovered in a shallow grave a few days after her disappearance, with the body mitilated, while some vital organs were missing.
SP Williams Ayah, the State commandâs Police Public Relations Officer, who confirmed the incident, explained that the suspect and his accomplices were presently under police custody.
Meanwhile, Opaluwa Ugbede Omera in a Facebook post revealed that the suspect instigated problem in the house and used the opportunity to chase his wife away so he could have access to commit this heinous crime.
âThe night the little girl was taken away, the father, Mr Dauda, was wide awake watching his friends/colleagues Mr Isah Adams and Adah take his child away. The little girl was crying telling her father âDaddy I donât want to go with these peopleâ but the father said âgo with them, I will join you later.
No one would have known the disappearance of this girl if not for her little sister of about 6years who was awake and watched everything that happened. She testified this before everyone that asked her and said Uncle Isah who uses black jeep (Highlander) and Adah, came and took her away. She added that her father was there when they took her sister away,â Opaluwaâs post read.

Meet Uchegbu John-Paul: 16-year-old boy who scored 331 in Jamb, got 9 Aâs in WAEC
A 16-year-old boy identified as Uchegbu Obinna John-Paul is being celebrated online for his stellar academic excellence at a junior level, scoring 9A's and 331 in Jamb.
Uchegbu Obinna who is an Imo State on personality revealed this on his social media page.
In his words; âThe results were quite expected considering the times weâve spent together assiduously working towards achieving those results âHe loves reading, he even got better than me because I love reading and Iâm a prolific writer who always aim to gain knowledge.
âObinna reads a lot and ahead too, he started reading Biology textbooks for senior secondary school when he was in Jss 2. I could remember him turning his room door to blackboard where he teaches his imaginary friends Biology.
âHe wakes up to read at night and is quite jovial too always wanting to know more.â Saviola added: Heâs very decisive about beating records in the family and beyond including that of his father who is a renowned bank auditor.
âI started mentoring him when he was in JSS 1 first by being his friend and brother and a trusted confidante. Helping with his dad to day struggles as itâs not everything teenagers will discuss with their parents. I served as an academic tutor for him.
âI served as a career counselor to him, helping him to brainstorm career possibilities, define career goals and establish action plans to reach those goals. I was and still Iâm always in his corner bolstering his self-esteem. Making sure he sees himself as a champion. Recognising and celebrating his successes and working on the failures.
âI helped in making him a better leader by teaching him to relate to different kinds of people. Helped him develop strong communication skills so he can handle any situation. âAlways made sure he has data and airtime for research and study.â

Man Confesses to Killing his Brother with Rat Poison Over Piece of Land in Anambra
A young Nigerian man, Kosarachukwu Ugwuka, has openly confessed to the killing of his elder brother over a piece of land in Nnewi, Anambra state.
Ugwuka, who was made to confess before a popular shrine at Nando in Anambra East Local Government Area on Sunday, July 10, admitted to being responsible for his brotherâs mysterious death at Akala village in Anambra state.
A family narrated thus: âBut when both of them were repeatedly interrogated, the nephew maintained that he is innocent, while Ugwuka continued to accuse him, and also continued to deny that he himself did not have any hand in the death.
âAs a result, the villagers had to resort to using traditional means to unravel the truth. They have to take them to a popular shrine at Nando last Sunday, to swear before the deity, to prove their innocence.
âAfter his nephew had sworn and was vindicated, Ugwuka was hooked and instantly blinded by the deity while swearing, which made him to start confessing immediately. It was during the confession that he revealed that he killed his elder with rat poison because of land dispute.â

What was most surprising was how he was doing a diligent job with smiles all over his face. I couldn't hold myself back than to record this short video of him. I gave him my little support anyway but it wasn't enough but still I'm glad I tried my best.
