UN General Assembly 2025: Hon Peter Aniekwe Udeogalanya (Macpee) Joins African Leaders at U.N.Summit in New York.
..As He calls on the International Community not to ignore homegrown conflicts in Africa.

New York- The Member Representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency at the National Assembly and Member of the 6th Legislative body of the ECOWAS Parliament, Hon Peter Udeoglanya Aniekwe (Macpee) attends the 80th Session of the United Nation General Assembly in New York in United States of America.
Hon Peter Udeoglanya Aniekwe with Other Members of National Assembly Members, Hon Billy Osawaru and Hon Anayo Onwuegbu were received by Ambassador Abubakar Jidda, the Consulate General of Nigeria Mission in New York.
At various Committee meetings of the delegations, Hon Peter Udeoglanya Aniekwe called on International Communities not to ignore Conflicts going on in Africa and terrorism which is today crippling the development of Nigeria and Africa in General, especially Sudan’s civil war which has killed at least 40,000 people while Congo’s conflict has claimed over 7,000 lives, The Bandity, ISIS and Boko Haram attacks in Northern Part of Nigeria.
Hon Peter Udeoglanya Aniekwe opined that world leaders should explore solutions to global challenges to advance peace, security, and sustainable development, so as to reflect on the theme, “Better Together: 80 years and more for peace, development, and human rights.”
On Climate Change, Hon Peter Udeoglanya Aniekwe calls for ambitious action on climate change, sustainable consumption and production, pollution control, and the implementation of biodiversity frameworks.
