TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL MUSIC CAREER

Making it in the Music industry is no joke .Today we will be sharing some tips on how you can make s successful music career ..

Write Your Songs. There is a kind of connection that Artistes have with their fans. To be successful, You must be able to write your own songs. It's not easy when someone else is writing songs for you. The connection is not really there. The song writer writes his Experience and not Yours. You feel some kind of fake spitting out Emotions that are not yours . Try to write songs. You can always write down how you are feeling then try converting it to a Song.

Invest in Audios and Videos. People get irritated when they listen to songs and it doesn't sound right or watch videos that are not clear. It's not easy to do this but you must invest in Quality Audio and Video Production.

Have Great knowledge about Your Industry. Your industry is like your market. You must know what is highly demanded, where to sell and where to get cheaper goods.
Know where you can organize your concerts, know people you can contact for promo, know labels that can help take you to where you want to go. Know the Producers, Video directors that you can work with or give you a perfect touch in whatever you want. Know your industry and your way around. Humble and interactive enough to learn.

Build Good Relationships. It's sad that many of you rather want to brag, disrespect people ahead of you. Don't burn bridges that you will need tomorrow.

Try New Sounds. Truth is your fans always want to see you do something out of what you always do. You might be a very talented Rapper, a day might reach and you drop an Afro Pop song or Makossa song, Your fans will go crazy. Doing this doesn't mean you are giving up on your career as a Rapper.

Ignore Negative Vibes. Remember you have a goal, let it Encourage you. Turn all the discouragements to Encouragements. Not everybody can like you or the music you do. Avoid replying to critics but take what they say seriously.

Be ready to work with other people. Many people will get to know and support you just because you worked with their favourite Artiste. It takes Hard Work and humility to work with others. Pride can make you feel like you are above everyone until you become irrelevant. Work and collaborate with others. It makes you gain fans from them.

Give the People a reason to support you. Are you promoting their culture? Do you stand up for them when they need you? Do you support and impact the community? Things have changed. People want to be fine too. They want to have a reason for supporting you.

It takes more than finance and creativity to succeed in the music industry.
