Supreme Court Verdict: Okoro congratulates Governor Oborevwori

Pioneer Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and Chairman, Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency, Rt. Hon. (Dr) Emmanuel Okoro, has congratulated the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori on his well deserved victory today at the Supreme Court sitting in Abuja.

In his congratulatory message, Dr. Okoro made it clear that the victory of Sheriff Oborevwori right from the party's primary remained the will of God and cannot be manipulated by any man.

He extended his felicitations to the entire PDP family in Delta State for the trust and confidence reposed on the Governor during and after his election.

Dr. Okoro, however, appealed for understanding and urged members of the opposition parties to kindly support the administration of Governor Sheriff and join hands with His Excellency to do more for the people of the state.

Former President of Ofagbe Kingdom, Akpofa Matthew to bury wife July 28th

The burial ceremony of late Mrs Regina Ichekere Akpofa, wife of the Former President General of Ofagbe Kingdom and Secretary General to the Delta State Forum of Kingdoms, Clans/Communities Presidents-General, Hon. Matthew Akpofa, has been scheduled to hold on Friday, July 28, 2023.

According to the statement released by the family, there would be a Service of Songs on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at No. 26 Oketa Grammar School Road, Ofagbe by 4pm prompt.

The statement added that on Friday, July 28, 2023 by 8:00am prompt, the co**se would leave Ebenezer Mortuary along Ovrode/Ofagbe Road in Isoko North LGA, for Lying-in-State and Reading of Tributes/Funeral Oration at No. 26 Oketa Grammar School Road, which will be anchored by the Redemption Power and Life Ministry.

Thereafter, the body of Late Mrs Regina Akpofa would proceed for Interment at Off Odubu Lane in Ofagbe, and the reception/entertainment of guests would follow immediately at No. 26 Oketa Grammar School Road, Ofagbe.

The family further stated that the burial events will climax on Sunday, July 30, 2023 with a Memorial/Special Thanksgiving service at the God's Kingdom Society (GKS) Service Hall, Ofagbe Branch, in Isoko North Local Government Area, Delta State.

Family, friends, community leaders, political associates, party leaders and stakeholders are hereby invited to take note of the dates as they pay their last respect to late Mrs Regina Ichekere Akpofa who died at the age of 62 years.
