An amazing Love Story🗝©®

He met her on a party. She was so outstanding, beautiful and cool, many guys chasing after her, while he so normal, nobody paid attention to him. At the end of the party, he invited her to have coffee with him, she was surprised, but due to being polite, she promised. They sat in a nice coffee shop, he was too nervous to say anything, she felt uncomfortable, she thought, please, let me go home.... suddenly he asked the waiter. 'would you please give me some salt? I'd like to put it in my coffee.'

Everybody stared at him, so strange! His face turned red, but still, he put the salt in his coffee and drank it. She asked him curiously; why you have this hobby? He replied: 'when I was a little boy, I was living near the sea, I like playing in the sea, I could feel the taste of the sea, just like the taste of the salty coffee. Now every time I have the salty coffee, I always think of my childhood, think of my hometown, I miss my hometown so much, I miss my parents who are still living there'. While saying that tears filled his eyes. She was deeply touched.

That's his true feeling, from the bottom of his heart. A man who can tell out his homesickness, he must be a man who loves home, cares about home, has responsibility of home. Then she also started to speak, spoke about her faraway hometown, her childhood, her family. That was a really nice talk, also a beautiful beginning of their story.

They continued to date. She found that actually he was a man who meets all her demands; he had tolerance, was kind hearted, warm, careful. He was such a good person but she almost missed him! Thanks to his salty coffee!

Then the story was just like every beautiful love story , the princess married to the prince, then they were living the happy life... And, every time she made coffee for him, she put some salt in the coffee e, as she knew that's the way he liked it.

After 40 years, he passed away, left her a letter which said: 'My dearest, please forgive me, forgive my whole life lie. This was the only lie I said to you---the salty coffee. Remember the first time we dated? I was so nervous at that time, actually I wanted some sugar, but I said salt It was hard for me to change so I just went ahead.I never thought that could be the start of our communication! I could not eat dinner that night. I could not sleep either. All because of Sonia.
The next day, I went to the living room. I saw Greg trying to make a phone call. Without asking , I know he was trying to reach Sonia. He has been trying to reach her all to no avail. I am sure he don’t know where she lives and I don’t plan telling him either.
Greg: Shania, I finally met with Isaac yesterday. He told me Sonia has been living with him. She traveled to US and she’ll be coming back today. Am so happy I’ll finally get to meet my sister

The so called driver claimed that he know what wrong with the car. We spent more than 30minutes trying to fix the car. Finally the car started. On getting to the venue, Eric was standing with his two hands buried in his pockets. I have never seen him done that before. He reminds me of Isaac and I feel guilty for living him alone at home.
Eric:are you going to stand there all night?
Oh! He brought me back from my thoughts. The venue was so awesome beautiful and it’s just a table for two. What? A table for two? Is this a date or something? I walked closer to the table and sat on the chair. I picked the menu

sonia:no! It is wrong to go through someone else’s personal property
she wanted to drop the diary when she saw a picture on the table. she poked it up and then decided to go through the diary.

Isaac: my uncle ‘s child was not feeling fine so I had to take her to the hospital

Sonia’s pov
It’s been a month now since the incident that occurred at Enoch’s apartment. And to be honest, things have been bad for me. I was happy I fell in love with Enoch but am regretting it now. Isaac has been trying to cheer me up. He act more like a brother to me
The next day after school, Isaac drove me to his house. His house is not big but at least I’ll be more comfortable . just a two bedroom flat. I sat on the couch in the small living room
Isaac: am sure you are hungry, lat me prepare you lunch
Me: do you know how to cook?
Isaac: mmmm…… You can call me a chef after you taste my meal.( he went to his kitchen and prepared coconut rice. He placed it on a stool close to the couch I was sitting on. The aroma of the food alone woke up the worms in my stomach. In less than five minutes, I devoured the whole plate of food. I must confess, be is really a good cook.
Me: bravo! I wish I know how to cook
Isaac: you don’t know how to cook?
Me: I don’t know how to boil common water. Am not good at anything. Am just useless
Isaac: I can teach you how to cook
Me: really?
Isaac: yes! If you are willing to learn. Flawless I know you have lots of dreams but you can only achieve them when you are willing to. You talked about being a famous musician……..
Me: am no longer interested in being a musician. I don’t have a nice voice
Isaac: and who told you that? Do you know the meaning of flawless?
Me: perfect
Isaac: yes! You are perfect. You just can’t see it because you listen to what people say about you. You can be the best in your department you can prove to the world that you are not useless. Look at me, am a secondary school graduate but that doesn’t stop me from achieving my goals. I read books that even a lecturer find it hard to explain. Do you know Eric Anderson?
Me: yes! He was my mentor.i wanted to be like him
Isaac: you can still be like him. Have you ever imagined yourself singing with him?
Me: countless times. But I know itz not possible
Isaac: it is possible if you believe. You just have to start training yourself from now. I have a friend that works in his company NEXT INNOVATION, he can introduce you to him. But before then,you’ll have to prove to me that you are useful. I’ll teach you how to cook starting from tomorrow
Me: how is that possible? My dad don’t want to see me close to the kitchen

Me: what? Are you crazy? I don’t have plans of leaving my dad’s house
Isaac: you’ll come live with me. As you can see I have two rooms. The reason why you don’t come out with good grades is because of the problems you face at home. It causes distraction. You need a breathing space Flawless
Me: okay! So what if he refuses?

Ya, he is right, there is no harm in trying. I’ll have to try and convince my dad. But how am I going to do that when he is always angry with me?
When I got home that night, I went to his study, he was going through some files
Me: good evening dad,
Dad: yes, what do you want?
Me: I….I…em….. I want to……I want to leave the house
Dad: what did you say?(raising his voice)
Me: no! Dont take it the wrong way. What I mean to say is that…. I want to be staying alone , away from all of you so I can concentrate on my studies
Dad: are you trying to call us distractions
Me: uhmmmm….. No! That’s not what I mean to say
Dad: whatever!!! I don’t care where you go. I will continue to send you your school fees and allowance. But don’t come back to this house until you’ve succeed
Me: okay dad!
I left the study and went to my bedroom. I called Isaac to come pick me up because I want to leave that night. I packed some of my belongings and kept them in my car booth. I went to Shania’s bedroom, I was about to knock when she opened the door
Shania: what?
Me: am leaving
Shania: leaving to where?
Me: to somewhere. Since I won’t be coming anytime soon, please take very good care of the family
Shania: we will be fine without you. Thank God you are finally leaving
Do you think its a good idea for Sonia to leave the house?
Waking up on Friday morning knowing that someone like Sonia no longer live under the same roof with me gives me great joy. First time in hi story, I slept like a princess
I stood up sluggishly from my king size bed and went to the bathroom to freshen up. An hour later, I was ready for school. I went to the dinning room and saw my family members having breakfast. Look like everyone is happy with Sonia leaving the house
Me: Good morning dad, mom and brother
Mom: morning princess. How was your night?
Me: good, in fact very lovely
Greg: I see you woke from the right side of the bed today
Me: ya! Who wouldn’t be, when the person that gives me sleepless nights is not here. I pray she never returns
Greg: don’t say that Shania. She is still our sister. In fact dad, you shouldn’t have given her the permission to leave the house,

Since am not having lectures today, Isaac decided to teach me how to prepare YAM and egg source
Isaac: now slice the tomatoes
I did as instructed
Isaac: oh! Itz too big. Are we building a mansion?
Me: am sorry
Isaac: is that the only word you know how to say? You don’t learn with your face like that. My grandma once told me that people that don’t smile get old on time. So always try to wear a smile on your puppy face
Me: okay( I smiled)
Isaac: that’s it! Just keep smiling and you’ll realize that you’ll learn faster. Now slice the onions
After preparing the food, we are to our satisfaction
Isaac took me out, he thought me how to drive. After the driving lesson we came back home very tired , or should I say I was the only one tired. Isaac went to his bedroom and came back with a guitar
Me: what is this for?
Isaac: its for soccer game . Am sure you are not that dull
Me: are you an instrumentalist?
Isaac: ya! I play three instruments which are guitar violin and piano, I’ll be teaching you how to play the instruments and we are starting with guitar
Me: I have not touched a guitar before
Isaac: you’ll touch it today. I borrowed the instruments so you better learn fast
The next day which was Saturday Isaac came back alot of books
Isaac: we’ll be studying together to night
Me: am already regretting coming to live with you. You are stressing me too much
Isaac: I love stressing people Flawless
After living with Isaac for a week, I know everything about him. He is an orphan. Talking about his love life, his love life is so poor, according to him, no girl wants him because they don’t find him cute. I told him to Barb his bears and moustache so he’ll look more handsome but he told me that a full grown man can only be recognized because of his bears and moustache in his village. I have been learning a lots from him. He has been helping me with my studies, I wonder how he does that since he has never been into the university before

The D_day has finally arrived when am to meet with the famous Eric Anderson. I became nervous. In fact, I have never been this nervous in my life. I was still in my bedroom looking for what to wear when Crystal badged in. At first I thought it was Isaac

Me: its not like am getting married today

Me: don’t call me that. It’s only Isaac that has the right to call me flawless

Me: what? Stop looking at me like that, its not what you are thinking

Me: stop assuming things. He is just my driver and my bestie

Isaac and I walked into the company, I was getting nervous, it was like as if my heart is gonna explode anytime soon
Me: Issac, I don’t think I can do this. Am going to faint
Isaac: Flawless, I trust you so you’ll have to trust yourself. Eric is a human being just like you. This is your chance of proving to the world that you are useful. This is your chance of proving to your family that you are useful. You just have to relax. Though I’ve not seen Eric in person before but Victor my friend assured me that he is an easy going person
Me: thank you so much for your word of encouragement. But in case I messed up s***k me really hard
Isaac: I’ll gladly do that
A young handsome man walked up to us

An hour later, the so-called boss has not arrived. I was already pi**ed off when he showed up. He was just as handsome as he is in his videos and photos. He tapped Mr Victor that seems to be engrossed with his phone
