Facebook Sunday School

Today is the second Sunday of Easter called DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY.

The Catholic Gospel reading for today (John 20: 19 - 31) talked about the Famous Doubting Thomas. Yes, he was one of the apostles who were not around when Jesus visited after his resurrection he was told he did not believe until he dipped his finger into the palm that was nailed and saw the side that was wounded before he believed and Jesus granted him that.

It was at his first appearance that he told them “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”

This very act, showed the mercy of God as he truly wants to relieve us of all guilt caused by sin and make us whole.

So today we are reminded that God is merciful, we should always be reminded of this.

For now, we can not create pages, we can only revamp existing pages, but can not create new pages.

This has been a problem since last year, but I and my team have found a way to maneuver it.

In fact as of this week on Wednesday 3rd of April 2024, I created a page, but while creating a page on Friday it happened that all the routes used can no longer be used.

We are currently working on this, to get a way to fix this.

We can revamp old pages and all Instagram pages.

So I had a free class on Wednesday and it was quite fun, I taught about page revamping, its benefits, and how I get clients to pay for it.

So today I will be telling you a little about page revamp.

Check the first slide below, you can see two pages.

The first slide - One page is not revamped and the other is revamped.

That is the physical or visible difference between a revamped Instagram page and a non-revamped Instagram page.

The second slide - This shows the visible work done, take a look 👇👇👇

Username - This is usually the space that carries your brand name and makes you searchable when your brand name is typed.

Name: This part is optimized to make you searchable when the name of a product is typed. Those who have so many products, as a revamper I know what to do.

Bio - This is the part that tells your visitors what you do before even scrolling through your feed, it should include a CTA which is also known as a call to action.

Link in bio - This makes it easier for people to reach you outside Instagram.

Highlight Cover: This has so many benefits but my emphasis is usually on the review part, it is easier for people to see reviews from the session.

Post Template: A unique post template to make content creation easier for you.

Now, this is not all, but others are done as underground settings and structuring.

A lot of creativity is been put to work just to make sure the page attracts and reaches more people.

Oh, do you watch SPONGEBOB SQUARE PANTS?

Well, my siblings like to watch Nickelodeon a lot.

So yesterday, it was Spongebob, Plankton was crying because he had no customers in Chum Bucket (His shop) his wife Karen met him crying and asked him why he was crying, he told her that they had no customers while Mr. Krabs had so many customers.

Guess her response 😊

Well, she told him he was not doing what he ought to do, and he asked 'What am I supposed to do' She told him you Should ADVERTISE.

That is what other business owners do.

Kai, this one burst my head, Kai, cartoon teaching business.

If you watch Spongebob, you will realize that Plankton sells rubbish, and he wants people to buy, Mr. Krabs a typical Igbo man sells Krabby Patty which is a veggie burger he advertises well and also has a Secret Formula that makes his Krabby Patty special.

Now back to our story.

Plankton quickly started thinking of some good slogans to put on his billboard abi na banner, where Patrick helped him generate some good slogans.

He started gaining customers and he got so many customers.

Now, Mr. Krabs knew something had gone wrong as he no longer had customers, he disguised himself with SpongeBob and went to spy on Plankton.

The end of this was Mr. Krabs got his customers back and Plankton lost the customers again because he did not have a good product and a sustainable Advertising Plan, but by Advertising he sold a good number of products.

Now, compare this with your business.

You have good Foodstuff but, you are not advertising and you want to make sales.

Do you know about brand language?

Branding is very vast, when I say vast I mean vast.

Before anyone can brand for you, he/she must understand all about the business and the emotions of the owner of that business.

So under every branding, the BRAND LANGUAGE section must be filled.

Brand language is the body of words, phrases, and terms that an organization uses to describe its purpose or its products/services.

It goes beyond the slogan, and you will see it reflected in the write-up.

For example MTN.

Check all the messages they have been sending and observe the tone they use.

Having a TO-DO helps you stay organized and consistent.

You may not get a highly sophisticated to-do book for this you can also use regular notebooks for this.

This is HOW TO SET UP YOUR TO-DO.

1. You can dream of the week and specifically imagine tomorrow, Monday. Have a visual breakdown of what you intend to do how you want to do it and how long those tasks will take individually.

2. List the tasks out and rank them from the most important to the least important and the ones you can delegate to others.

3. In the notebook pick a page, and write the day, and date as headings. Then make a big column for Task another for the time frame and another to tick (✔️ ❌). Making 3 columns in a page.

4. The Most important task should be no. 1 followed by the second important, put the time frame to accomplish each task.

Now, one of the reasons this will not work is that you did not put in realistic resting hours and necessary breaks.

This way you can achieve more and be happy, you can quickly create one for tomorrow now!!!

I so much like the communication style Jumia is using to market.

For the past 2 to 3 weeks I have been seeing a particular Ads style by Jumia.

They seem to sense the fears of Nigerians and decided to use it to create content and push it out to many.

Sincerely that is even one of the reasons, I always choose Jumia for some feeble products like glasses and what have you.
