- Romans 8:1-8

The Book of Romans talks a lot about why humans have problems and how God solves them. It talks about sin, how to be saved, and how God forgives us. It also talks about grace, which means getting something good even if we don't deserve it, and reconciliation, which means making things right again.

Some people have misunderstood what Paul wrote, but it's important to know he wasn't against God's rules or what Yeshua taught. His writing isn't just about giving information; it's about changing people who want to worship God in a real and honest way.

In Romans 8:6, Paul says that thinking about things in a selfish or bad way leads to problems, but thinking about things in a good and spiritual way brings peace and a good life. So, if we want to follow God's rules and make Him happy, we need to have God's Spirit inside us and allow him to order our steps to success

As the Eternal Covenant Believers, we follow some important rules, like celebrating the New Moon feast. This is mentioned in Ezekiel 46:1-3 and Isaiah 66:22-23.

In Esther 9:1, it talks about the twelfth month being Adar, not December. Adar is a special month because it's when God helped His people win against their enemies. It shows us that victory can come when we trust in God's help. Sometimes, there's even a second Adar in a leap year, like the one we have now (5783/5784).

If we stay loyal, faithful, and strong in serving God, He will protect us and give us many good things to boost our salvation story.

- Acts 5:12-21

As the year 2023 draws to a close this serene Sunday evening, I am reminded of the teachings from our revered Sage and Icon, Prophet Jude Okporo. He imparted the profound knowledge that every individual on Earth is entrusted with three Angels. One meticulously records our virtuous deeds, another painstakingly notes our missteps, while the third stands as our guardian Angel. With the global population currently estimated at 7 billion, this revelation echoes the biblical reference found in Revelation 5:11. Could we explore this insight through a numerical lens?

Hebrews 1:14 beautifully defines angels as celestial beings who dutifully serve and are sent by the Divine to aid and minister to those destined for salvation. This premise implies that beyond embracing faith in God and His son, Yeshua as outlined in John 3:16 and 14:1, and accepting the guidance of God's Spirit, we also require angelic assistance in navigating the battles that life presents.

The first recorded encounter with angels in the Scripture occurred during Hagar's momentous experience, as chronicled in Genesis 16:7. Additionally, there are four distinguished archangels—Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and Eurel—each entrusted with distinct responsibilities and holding positions in the divine presence, as illuminated in Luke 1:19. Throughout the Scriptures, God's angels have played integral roles, extending their service even to His son, Yeshua, as illustrated in Matthew 4:11.

Envy, a perilous emotion, led to the arrest and imprisonment of Yeshua's Apostles, an event recounted in Acts 5:12-21. Yet, in this dire situation, God dispatched an angel to liberate them and reaffirm their divine calling to preach the unadulterated gospel. Satan often tries to change himself into an angel of light but he will remain a loser as 2 Corinthians 11:14 shows.

As we, the bearers, teachers, and embracers of the unwavering gospel, confront the forces of darkness, may the Supreme Father of lights unfailingly dispatch His radiant angels to shield, guide, speak, reveal, aid, deliver, and secure victory over our adversaries, all in the Most Holy Name of God.

Now, I pose the question: "Has an angel ever intervened in your life before?"

And in response, let the Church reverently sing:

"Angels are singing, You are worthy, O Lord, Father, You are worthy, O Lord."
