CONTENT! CONTENT!! CONTENT!!!

I met one of my online students on campus today and he was so happy to see me. He was screaming 'digital doctor' from afar and the excitement on his face upon meeting me for the first time made me emotional.

Here I am wishing you a Happy New Month after a day because it's been a challenging year for me so far, I've got goals to crush that requires a higher level of energy and commitment that somewhat swept me off my feet, but, I'm not ready to give up. Declarations here and there, confessions back and front, let's be calming down now even the Bible tells us in 1 Timothy 1:18 "This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare". If you don't take actions that'll help you grow I just hope you don't waste all the wishes you received today.

I made reference to the above scripture to tell us that it's not enough to receive the Word or Prophecy for the year but to ACT with and on them because what makes the year new is not the Word or Prophecy but YOU and the actions you take.

What are you doing differently this new year?

You can't keep doing it the same way and expect a different result, who does that😒

Never be afraid of disappearing when there's a need to. The truth is, very few people really care.

What the world is mainly after is the next big thing around you.

So, if you must disappear to fulfill those declarations you received, to truly grow and become better, don't hesitate.

Where you often find real growth is behind that stage. In this new year, be delivered from the pressure to always have something to say or display. Commit to your growth!

The fruits of this growth is what makes the year new indeed.

Are you failing at what you do currently and want to quit? I know there are some goals you set at the beginning of this year and you are not even close. Let me tell you what works for me.
About two years ago I saw a need to learn
a musical instrument but I didn't have any at my disposal but the desire was strong, so anytime I had an opportunity to fellowship with brethren I'll find my way to the keyboard and play with faith even though I wasn't even enjoying the sound 🤣 but I'm my greatest motivation.
Still on the memory lane, a time came I had access to my church keyboard anytime, that was actually something hoooge in disguise because it made a lot difference, I'll practically stay up all night consuming my data watching YouTube videos, just to play but sincerely buddy what I was playing ehn even the devil cannot enjoy it🤦‍♂️😀
The most important part of this story is what you're about to hear now, I didn't give up as horrible a player as I was, I made judicious use of every opportunity to learn and get better I kept on getting better by the day I'll stay up all night playing the nonsense I could, sometimes would do a video call with my friend who was a professional just for him to see my progress and put me through, that was how intentional I was😐.
I didn't even know how much progress I had made until a fateful day when our church keyboardist refused to show up and I went to play with faith as usual😀 but I'm still yet to figure out who really played the keyboard in that service cos the Lord was indeed good to me 🤣
My dear friend, I won't hold this back from you, the truth is you must embrace failing if you would ever gain mastery at anything.

The reason I had the guts to play the keyboard in that service was simply because I have failed and succeeded at so many things that I know failure is only a process... One I was willing to embrace and see through to the end.

This is why I always advise, never give up on your dreams... It is not blind motivation, it does something more.

Don't be surprised that many dependent and bound folks are celebrating independence, not necessarily because they are incompetent or cannot truly be independent but the fear of the unknown has kept so many on the ground.

Since I was born and now I'm growing old I've never seen happy independence, match past, president's speech and all the euphorias that come with October 1st make a difference in Nigeria.

The independence you truly desire is outside your comfort zone. You've been complacent for too long step out of your boundaries and make that difference.

What if you fail in the process?
What if you lose your life fighting for freedom?
What if... What if... What if... This is the question that has held you and many bound for so long."Failure is not the outcome, failure is being too scared to start" ©️Dan Lok.

It was indeed evident that God was with David but it took a bold step to confront the King that he was gonna fight Goliath. You may be competent but until you begin to take those bold steps you don't know what you're capable of, you're as well not independent because you're still bound by your fears.

True independence is first won on the inside, then manifested with bold steps on the outside.

Sometimes the reason we quit is that we're not appreciated for the little efforts we make and as humans that we are we can be discouraged but I've come to understand that every effort we make to change the world is imprinted in time even long after our existence.

Do not be ashamed of the small beginning because the small things you do consistently today are the great things we'll celebrate tomorrow.

Meditating this cool Wednesday morning I concluded life hasn't been so friendly but love and friendship didn't make it visible so you believe it or not, you're a part of my success story. I owe you my love.

Still in the meditation laboratory in the early hours of today trying to draw an hypothesis of relevance and purpose, I remembered it's just 7days to the end of First Half, then I asked myself how well have you played in this match, immediately I had to revisit the drawing board...

Second Half which is July 1st is fast approaching and there's still much more to achieve for me, that's a loose for me right?

Well, I don't know how close or far you are to achieving your goals but you can make the Second Half count, you are not a looser yet, the winner of the match isn't decided at the end of 1st half so I'm not a looser yet too. I'm set and will do more as God helps me in this second half.

We can all be winners that's the beauty of the game of life and how well we play can determine how long we live even after our deaths. We don't have to die when we die if we will play well.
