My reply or take on what Owen Joseph said about Akaeze people this morning.

I have checked the said group, number one is that Facebook don't monetize groups, group is totally different from a page, group have limited features. I don't think it was because of monetization issues that brought the group down, it might be another factor which will likely be power tussle as you stated.

You will hardly see anything about Akaeze that have achieved its purpose due lack of creativity among the people, what we do is to Wait for someone to bring up an idea then you see people who will come and hijack the whole thing even without knowing the major reason behind the formation of such things, am sorry if I may be permitted to say this, "even if you create another page or group and grow the page to any high level, believe me another people will still rise to claim responsibilities, there and then it will still die a natural death".

The under development in our Village is affecting the mentality of our people. Those who are creative are being undermining, subdued, oppressed and frustrated by the so called leaders and the never to do well elites who hates progress.

A generation that seems to have rejected progress, a people that don't love seeing their children progress, people who love blackmail even more than food. Check within, all their neighbors are doing better than them. The just concluded general elections exposed the leadership of the community to be something else, while we hoped for and believed that a youth will take over one of the vital positions to represent the people of Akaeze, it will surprise some of you to know that it was still same people from same Ihenta that was sharing money and using all available resources to stop their son from wining the election, to them he is still a small boy. Political party aside Tufiakwa ndi Akaeze.

Carry out your investigations, even the igba boy philosophy which have entirely uplifted the Igbo trading system, the only people who uses it against themselves is the Akaeze people, both the ndi oga and the boys themselves. How can your son be serving someone and you know that he is not yet independent and he will be sending you money to buy landed properties for him and you will have the mind to be collecting the money from your son and be executing the projects without fear of what will happen to your son, una get conscience at all? To Ndi oga someone will serve you sincerely only for you to start looking for a way to blackmail him and send him back to the village towards the end of his service to you. It is more honorable to make your boy understand that there is no availability of the resource to settle him at that moment, explain to him, he can calm down for a year or less since he did so for years while can't he do it for months.

Till we trace and discover where our problem is coming from, it will still be very difficult to start solving those problems.
