A Group of policemen in Rivers State joined one of their member to deliver a wheelchair to a crippled boy at Omerelu Community in Rivers State to enable him to follow other children to school.

The name of the police officer is Christopher attached to the Octopus strike force unit in ikwerre local government.

"I got married in 2019, but the marriage was not a happy one. My husband turned me into a slave;beating me whenever and wherever he wanted. He'd throw me out of the house and travel, not caring about my safety. Even at night, he'd still throw me out and I'd stay outside till morning.

One fateful day, he locked me up after beating me and wanted to use hot iron on me, but I was able to escape. When he was not around, I came back to pack my things, went back to my family and told them all I had been going through.

My father invited him for them to discuss the issue, but he refused. After much pleading, he finally came and his response was that he has married and paid my bride price, so whenever I get tired of staying in the village, I can rejoin him in the city.

My people then decided that they wouldn't leave me to die in the name of marriage. They sent a message to him to come take back the bride price he paid. He refused to come until my father died 3 months later.

After my father's burial, he came with a list of what he claimed he did which amounted to about 600,000 thousand naira. On the list were chairs, spoons, disposal plates and other things he had bought for the marriage. My family told him that he's only entitled to the bride price, but he insisted that things must be done his way.Since then, he increases the amount every month.

Last month, he called to inform us that the amount is now one million , three hundred thousand naira and by the end of this year, it'd go higher.

At this point, I am confused and do not know what to do. I am 26 years old, my elder brother is 29 and he's still serving his boss. We have no one to help us deal with this issue."

- opposition saboteur
- privatisation of public assets,
- political thuggery,
- self-defined democracy,
- unquenchable quest for control,
- lack of regard for older authorities,
- forceful imposition of self as authority over others,
- eliminating competition
- obstruction of justice,
- perjury
- shift blames and guilts on others.
- violence, hooliganism and godfatherism
- unexplainable killings and mysterious deaths of perceived opposition or opponents in the political circle and road transport circle under his watch.

Just imagine if all these were to be what Peter Obi has on him while chasing the highest office in the land.

It will always taste sourly in your mouth.

I have a girlfriend who is a police officer. When she misses me, she just come to my house in uniform and arrest me in presence of my wife and take me to her home till the next day.

Then she bring me back and tell my wife “we are not done with investigations yet. I shall pick him up anytime we want more from him“

And my innocent wife will always say: 'madam officer, God bless you for handling my husband's case with care I will make sure he is always available anytime you need him''.😅

NBA: ‘OBIdents’ Slam Ben Bruce Over Tweet On Obi’s Comment

Supporters of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, slammed founder of Sliverbird group, Ben Bruce, for his remark about Peter Obi's usage of the word "articulated" in his address.

Peter Obi, on Monday, made a statement during his speech at the Nigerian Bar Association conference that Nigeria needs excellent leadership because the country is in disarray.

"You need to have a visionary, articulated and competent leadership to start turning around this" Obi said

Following Obi's usage of the word 'articulated,' Ben Bruce via his Twitter handle, said "Peter Obi Endorses Atiku at NBA Conference!"

Bruce’s interpretation had generated backlash from Obi’s supporters on Twitter.

A tweep, thegirlng said, ‘’I honestly hope that this account is hacked, bcos(sic) a man of ur(sic) caliber, who is well respected and held in high esteem should not put himself in a situation that will attract disrespect. Making fun of PO is as good as making fun of Nigerian youths and our struggles. Let’s be guided.’’

Trying to explain the meaning of the word, another tweep said, ‘’Articulation is an English word of which he used while addressing them, he was not referring to Atiku. You can't deceive us, we the Obidient are wise. Go and rest sir.’’

‘’Sir, you may be supporting Atiku based on your personal choice & conviction, that's absolutely fine. But to share a twisted video to push your course is a no-no. This is spreading falsehood. You are definitely better than this.’’ Chris Emoghene tweeted.

Stay away from people sometimes, retire from going after them for a while, withhold the calls and texts, stop visiting and let them do their own part as well.
If you need to delete their number and speak with them or retrieve their number whenever they call or text you and if they don't let the number be gone forever.

Let people miss you too or walk, they're not more important than you, trust me they're not, you just don't know it yet.

If you're the head carrying your relationship with them, remove your head, if the relationship falls it falls.

Sometimes, disrespect comes from being the one making most of the effort, you'll be used and still be disrespected.

I learned this many years ago and there's no human on this planet I'm afraid of losing, nothing will go wrong if anyone walks away from my space and nothing should go wrong if I move from anyone's as well.

Understand this principle and be free from being used and investing too much energy where value doesn't flow to you from.

You're important as well, take the back seat for a while and let the relationship crash if they won't take the steering for a while, stay by yourself sometimes, you won't perish.
