Nobody cares about mothers and their well being, mental health and livelihood until it’s too late. And then you see “she seemed so happy, everything seemed so good.” No she didn’t. You just don’t pay attention because “moms always have it together.” Pay attention to the mothers in your life.

I can’t stand the part of parenthood where the day is finally done, the kids are in bed, you replay all the moments in your head.

The moments where you reacted differently than you should have. The moments where you should have been more patient, more understanding, and nicer.

The moments that make you want to run into your child’s room and wake them up and say you’re so sorry, you love them, and you’ll do better tomorrow.

Raising a son is scary. One day a girl is going to fall for him and I hope he treats her right. Gets to know her heart, & respects her. I hope I can raise him to be that man. A man of his word, a man who knows loyalty. I hope I raise him to be a man that isn't afraid to love. 🥹🫶🏼

At a place in my life I will not deal with anything that brings negativity to my life. I'm deleting, blocking, unfollowing, stopping communication, and doing whatever I need to in order to protect my peace. I'm focused on being the best version of me for my child, and being around toxic people and situations isn't part of that.
