*BIBLE STUDY SUMMARY SUBMISSION*

*DATE: 17TH JUNE, 2021.*

*TEXT: 1 PETER 1*

*TOPIC: LIFE OF HOLINESS*

*INTRODUCTION*
For by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we are new creatures and have an inheritance in Him that can never fade.

*OBSERVATION*
⭐ God has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from dead.

⭐ We have inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade but kept in heaven.

⭐ Through faith, our trials is tested. Though we don't see Jesus but we believe in Him.

⭐ We need to be prepared for action, be self controlled.

⭐ Holiness is compulsory as a child of God, God is Holy.

⭐ Through obedient, we are purified.

*INTERPRETATION*
⭐By the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ we have a new hope.

⭐ Our reward is in heaven.

⭐ When I go through trials, my faith in God will help me through the trials.

⭐ I need to take actions towards living a holy life.

*APPLICATION*
⭐ I am a new creature though the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I must always live as a new creature.

⭐ I must not lose focus of heaven.

⭐ I must hold firm to my faith in God when I pass through trials.

⭐ I will consciously live towards living a holy life for my Father in heaven is holy.

*CONCLUSION*
We all are like grasses on the surface of the earth, we wither away but the word of the Lord stands forever.
Therefore, we should consciously live a life of Holiness, just like our Father in heaven is holy.

*PRAYER*
Father, help me not to lose my inheritance in You, don't let me fail in times of trials.
Help me to consciously live a life of Holiness. Amen

Jesus is the answer for the world today. You need to accept him as your Lord and personal Saviour, tomorrow might be too late
