LETTER TO MY DAUGHTERS AWAITING OR ENVISAGING MARRIAGE
Kwa bwana wangu ushuru au bango la mazingira.
I thank God for the privilege of having you as my daughter especially those connected to me Spiritually or by family or friend connections.
The day I accepted the responsibility of fatherhood over you, I knew it was a burden of Suspense, Uncertainties yet of Faith to see you attain possibilities and arrive at the bests life has to offer including marriage.
Marriage will remain a major achievement and a paradise I would love you to embrace on this short Earthly sujourn.
Marriage has blessed me, made me a better person and is one sweet track that has made my Heavenly dream so touchable that I already look towards thanking my marital partner on the eternal plane when we meet again. I WOULD THANK HER FOR HELPING ME TO ENJOY THE EARTH AND TO MAKE THE HEAVEN.
Am I truly your Spiritual, Biological or Relational Father? You can not strengthen the bond of Fatherhood & Daughtership by deceit, rather it will weaken, waste and turn the bond into a joke.
Why would you accept a man's marriage proposal and give that man so much Authority over your life, so fiercely bold to dictate to you and then you carelessly remember to tell your Spiritual father the date you set for your wedding? An Idoma adage says that the king does not need to stretch neck because of the masquerade that is coming to the palace. But it should be known that the King is always aware when a big masquerade is coming to the palace. HUSBAND issue is a big matter that a proclaimed & wise daughter work out with her father.I remember a son brought a lady to us ( we really wanted him married) but as we hosted and them that night, leaving the house, We told our son look deeper YOU HAVE NOT YET SEEN YOUR WIFE. Today he is grateful for that and his career is on the rise.
Daughter, what are you afraid for? Daddy will say no? well the No of today is to prevent had I Known of tomorrow giviing the Osinachi Nwachukwu loss to the world. Daddy may not say No but tell you what challenges to look out for and how to solve them in courtship and with recorded success, saunter into marriage.
For God's sake, its a man you want to marry here. Who can know more about a man than a man?
Marriage is a journey of Faith holding Facts in your hand. Domineering, abusive , caring, selfish, selfless, Snoring, Carelessness with appearance , trendy, sharing, attention giving , mother doting , free from mother influence etc are FACTS that must tailored to your Faith of Nuptial flights.
A daughter shocked me that she would be leaving church a week after, why? have you gotten a job? a shop for your handcraft?. She said No, that her introduction is that weekend . I could not fathom it. Is it Introduction to Technology, Basic Sciences, Economics? It was her introduction to a second marriage.
My Spiritual Daughters, why?. what does it take to do the right thing to avoid the wrong consequences?. why have a father that you can not trust your marriage matter into his hand? why live in deception with your father ?. If you have a Mother, a good mother to rapport with, she will bring your marriage matter to your Father, yet you keep so much distance from your spiritual mother, then how can the circle of progress be complete for you?.
My heart still ache for you for the path of error you have trodden but yet I pray for you that heaven may rescue in the time of reaping your seeds of folly, selling your spiritual father, when your wisdom and energy fails you in the journey of marriage. May God give you the boldness and effrontery to look beyond what the world will say and WALK AWAY WHILE YOU STILL HAVE BREATHE.
Never walk blindly into marriage, there are Fathers and Mothers that marriage opened their eyes, borrow their specs.
