𝐁𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐀 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐔𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐎𝐍𝐄

I was having a conversation with a friend who is being pressured to be in a relationship so she can get married.

After a whole lot of advice, I asked a question.

"Can you marry yourself if you were a man?"

Most times, if this question is asked most people think it's about character.

It's actually not about characters.

It is about HOW VALUABLE YOU ARE.

Are you a person of value?

Are you someone that at least 1 person's life has been impacted?

What value can anyone get from you?

Value can either be monetary, encouragement, tolerance and lots more.

If you are valueless, nobody will want you in their lives.

Nobody gives value to someone or things that are of no value to them.

As humans, we are the most valuable in the world more than anything.

And some people have distinguished themselves among others because they have became more valuable to people around them.

Have you ever thought about some set of people that people prefer?

That's because those people have values they give.

There are some businesses that even in all odds still strive because of the values they give.

We all have values to share as an individual.

𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐝𝐲: Before getting married, do your best to equip yourself as a lady, get some skills that will help you stand out. Let your man be proud of choosing you as his partner.

𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧: Be equipped as a husband as you are planning to get married. Learn skills and make use of the opportunities open to you. Learn and earn that will save you the problem of paying bills.

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐧: Some married men don't have their lives in check. They don't even know how to handle their home/finances. It's not too late though, get yourself a skill that is lucrative, make your home what you want your children to be proud of. Be the kind of husband you want to your sibling(s) to have.

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧 There are some married women who doesn't even know how to turn 1000 naira into 1050 naira. All they know how to do is spend. Some doesn't even know how to prepare some set of dishes and are not ready to learn. Some doesn't know how to make their home beautiful and accommodating. As a married woman, you are meant to be a helper to your husband. Don't just sit at home and be claiming big woman. It will make a lot of difference of you can help your husband with some of the little expenses in the house. Your husband will be more than happy if you can be that support system when things seems to be hard. Be a woman of value. Create your world where other women will want to emulate you.

𝐀𝐧 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐞: Upgrade yourself. Be valuable at work. Learn skills that will make you different among your colleagues. And don't just stagnant. Move out of your comfort zone. Have a side hustle that can help you get more source of income. You will be glad you did.

𝐀 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞: I know you have your certificate with you to get you a job but while waiting to get that dream job, do yourself a favor by learning some skills that can sustain you. Do you want to still have to live off your parents. In this era, there are lots of opportunities you can take advantage of. We have more graduates that jobs outside. Be a better version of yourself. Put what you learnt at school into work with the skills you acquired, you will be proud of yourself.
