*National Youth Security & Leadership Summit (NYSLS)*

The National Youth Security and Leadership Summit (NYSLS) is an initiative of the *House Committee on Youth Development, Office of the Speaker, House of Representatives in partnership with the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Youths and Student Affairs.* The National Youth Security and Leadership Summit 2021 is implemented by *Globe Takers Foundation, a youth-based organization driven with a vision to develop, lead and help young people excel with sights on stimulating and consolidating human capital development efforts in Nigeria.*

This event is organized to provide enabling platforms for youth engagement while building sustainable systems for increased human capital awareness, effective processes and enduring projects at all levels of influence.

In light of the growing concerns on systemic neglect, exponential human rights abuse, security problems, and inequitable opportunities in all sectors observed by Nigerian youths in 2020, *it is very pertinent to build an engaging event where a convergence of youths, Nigerian leaders and private sector professionals will be possible. This will provide platforms where their utmost yearnings and cries will be addressed to galvanize efforts and reshape their perspectives about their country.*

Nigeria currently ranks third position in Global Terrorism Index 2020, a very disturbing data and reality for us all. It is upon this premise that this summit is being organized for the overall sustainable development of Nigeria. *The thematic areas for the summit clearly shows critical areas where challenges have been overwhelming and the panelists whose competence and expertise aligns with their capacity to make the sessions an engaging one. Come, let us build Nigeria together.*
